Texas Slugfest Weighs In

Harrison Boxing Group will host the Texas Slugfest tomorrow July 20th at Lindero Ranch near Dallas,Texas. Local favorite and main event Jesse Lara(13-1) weighed in at 146 ¾ and his substitute opponent, Gilbert Elizondo(4-0) weighed in at an even 147. Lara’s scheduled opponent, Nestor Rosas(10-1) made a late pull out, giving undefeated Elizondo the opportunity to upset the “ Dallas Kid” Jesse Lara. Co-main event Luis Hernandez(6-0) weighed in at 139 ¾, looking ready to fight after a two year layoff, against local ring veteran Tomondre King(4-13) Along with three other scheduled bouts, this card is sure to be a crowed pleaser.
