at his Uncle Roger, who is his trainer for Roger's
role as Steve Forbes lead trainer for Forbes
May 3rd fight with Oscar De La Hoya.
Floyd's reason were that
Roger would be training Forbes to defeat De
La Hoya, which if that result happens, would
cost Floyd a potential $20 million pay day for
a rematch with De La Hoya, which is rumored
for September 20th.
Floyd Jr. went as far as
to say he would consider hiring his father Floyd
Sr., for whom they have been estranged off and
on for the last decade.
If you are still following,
the story the story took another turn on Thursday
night.
Forbes then fired Roger and
replaced him with Floyd Sr. and Roger's brother,
Jeff Mayweather.
Jeff, who recently trained
former WBO Heavyweight champion Sultan Ibragimov
will start with Forbes Friday in las vegas
