Lock Stops Garcia in four

Corneilius Lock scored a
mild upset when he scored a fourth round knockout
over previously undefeated Juan Garcia in round
four of a scheduled ten round Super Featherweight
bout in Industry City, California.
Lock dropped Garcia in round
two from a hard left hand at the end of round
two. Garcia stumbled to his corner and came
out for round three. In round four, Lock landed
a hard straight left to the body and a clubbing
shot as Garcia was falling to the canvas and
could not beat the ten count at the 2:32 of
round four
Lock of Detroit is now 17-3-1
with ten knockouts. Garica is 14-1.
Alejandro Perez scored a
first round stoppage over Omar Adorno in a scheduled
eight round Featherweight bout.
Perez was all over Adorno
and floored him with a left to the head that
was followed up by a right hand.
The time was 2:01 for Perez
who is now 12-0-1 with seven stoppages. Adorno
is now 16-10-1
John Molina remained undefeated
by scoring a six round unanimous decision over
Carlos Madrid in a Lightweight bout.
Scores were 59-55, 58-56
and 58-56 for Molina who is now 11-0. Madrid
is 8-5-2
Demetrio Soto scored a second
round stoppage over Mike Ramo in a scheduled
four round Welterweight bout.
Soto dropped Ramo twice in
the second round and the end came at 1:38 of
round two.
Soto is 1-0. Ramo is 1-1
Leo Santa Cruz scored a second
round knockdown en route to a four round unanimous
decision over Daniel Queverdo in a Bantamweight
bout.
Scores were 40-35 on all
cards fro Santa Cruz who is now 5-0-1. Queverdo
is 7-9-2.
