– Move over UFC, there’s a new league
entering the fastest growing sport in the world,
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), and it’s called
Cage Fighting Championships (CFC). Rage in a
Cage Promotions has assembled some of the finest
up and coming talent in MMA to kick off its
first ever CFC fights at the new Nova SE University
Center “Shark Tank” Arena. No better
name could be fighting in the Shark Tank for
the championship belt than “The Shark”
Emyer Bussade vs. “The Beast” TJ
Cook. Bussade stands 6”0”, weighs
in at 185 lbs and has a record of 9 wins and
4 losses. His fighting style is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
and he trains with American Top Team. Cook,
his opponent, also stands at an even 6 feet
and weighs 185 lbs with a record of 8 wins and
only 1 loss utilizing a striking style and fighting
wi! th Team Trauma should prove to be an exciting
title fight. Nine other fights are scheduled
featuring Carlos Gonzales vs. Eric Reynolds,
along with exciting new comers Moyses Gabin,
Nicholas Tortora, Marcos Dematta and Rex Payne.
Cage Fighting Championships
are being promoted by Rage in a Cage Promotions,
Inc., which is led by Crawford Grimsley. Grimsley,
a former heavyweight boxer, went 12 rounds with
big George Foreman for the world title in 1996
and was about to make a comeback against former
heavyweight champ Michael Moorer at the Hollywood
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in March
of this year before suffering a career ending
major surgery prior to the fight. “I’ve
always had the ambition to promote exciting
fights and with the huge growth in MMA, I felt
the time was right to bring the best to South
Florida in what will be the first of many Rage
in a Cage events worldwide” said Mr. Grimsley.
“I also want to add these fighters train
extremely hard and have to be knowledgeable
in a number of fighting styles to survive inside
the cage, if you’re looking for excitement,
then you don’t want to miss watching these
fights live”.
This first CFC event has
already drawn the attention of Mark Cuban’s
HDNet Network, which only broadcasts in 1080i
High Definition, and the hit show Inside MMA.
This television series will have a crew on hand
taping highlights and interviews in HD for their
program to air the following week after the

This championship event takes
place at the newly constructed Nova SE University
Center “Shark Tank” Arena. The arena
has state-of-the-art capabilities and amenities
while featuring over 4,500 seats, all with a
seat back. The main court provides for over
1,000 chair-back seats, including VIP sections,
while the upper level has over 4,000 seats.
The upper level houses the world’s largest
automated telescopic seating system, which adds
over 2,000 chair-back seats on either side when
extended. The arena is located at 3301 College
Avenue, Ft Lauderdale and is about 1-½
miles south of I-595 on University Drive.

at $29, which includes parking. Ring side and
VIP seating also available. The fastest and
