CHICAGO, IL (October 18, 2012) Chicago’s finest professional boxing prospects, Paul Littleton, Jaime “The Truth” Herrera and Luis “Sito” Santiago have been added to the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING event set for Friday, NOVEMBER 16 at the UIC Pavilion. Also, just announced is the return of heavyweight contender Carl “Iron Fist” Davis.

Presented by Round 3 Productions, WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING is headlined by an IBO Light Heavyweight World Title Bout between “Chicago’s Polish Prince” Andrzej Fonfara and world title challenger Tommy Karpency from Adah, Pennsylvania.

Advance tickets priced at $150, $100, $50 and $30, may be purchased through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com, phone 1-800-745-3000) or at the UIC Pavilion Box Office (phone 312-413-5700) in addition to the Round 3 Productions Office (phone 708-345-9999).

Over the first year of his professional boxing career, former Chicago Golden Gloves Champion Littleton, 4-0-1 (1KO) has quickly impressed Chicago fight fans with his stunning power and excellent boxing skills. Returning to the UIC Pavilion where all four of his wins have taken place in front of his huge legion of fans, Littleton will be featured in a six round super middleweight clash.

Littleton will look to get back in the win column following a highly controversial six round draw with Darnell Wilson on AUGUST 18, a bout most ringside observers had him winning easily.

The 23-year-old Herrera, has made the UIC Pavilion his home over the last three years compiling a record of 8-2-0 (4KO’s). With his all-action style, the Franklin Park native has built a massive and passionate fan following who attend each of his fights.

In his most recent start; Herrera won a six round decision over crafty St. Louis veteran Tyrone Chatman on JULY 13. Earlier this year on FEBRUARY 24, Herrera and fellow Mexican-American Chicago prospect Adrian Granados waged a fantastic eight round war, won in a hard fought battle by the highly regarded Granados.

Undefeated newcomer Santiago, 5-0-0 (1KO), has been a terrific addition to the Chicago boxing scene. Improving with each fight, Santiago won his first six rounder, a decision over Marlon Smith on APRIL 14 at Cicero Stadium.

Also added to the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING card is heavyweight contender Carl “Iron Fist” Davis of Evanston. Sporting a record of 16-4-0 (12KO’s), Davis is known for his heavy hands and brutal knockouts of his opponents.

After a two bout run as a cruiserweight, which included a ten round decision over former world champion Arthur Williams on DECEMBER 17, 2010 at the UIC Pavilion, Davis is now back campaigning in the heavyweight division.

In his last start on SEPTEMBER 8, Davis knocked out former world title challenger Bert Cooper in the second round.

Rounding out the undercard at WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, Chicago’s Jose Romero will make his pro debut in a four round junior welterweight bout.

More information on these undercard bouts will be announced shortly.

The UIC Pavilion is located at 525 S. Racine on the near West Side of Chicago. Doors on the evening of the event will open at 7pm with the first bell at 8pm.
