McLaurin Comments Further on Recent Changes

Minneapolis, MN- Jeremy McLaurin’s decision to join promotion firm Midwest Sports Council has not been an easy one, and while his focus is now entirely on preparing himself for his December 18 bout at Grand Casino Hinckley he has released a detailed comment on the matter.

“While this has been an emotional decision for me it is one that had to be made. I would like to thank all of the people responsible for my prior training, also for the support & friendship they showed me. There are many people behind the scenes that have been nothing but supportive to me I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all.

My decision to leave Seconds Out promotions is purely professional. I have learned a great deal & developed many friendships during the time I was with them. Unfortunately the plans they had for my future in boxing was not the direction that I felt my career should be headed. I truly believe I have made the best decision for myself & my family”

McLaurin may be inaccessible to the press until after December 18, but looks forward to getting back into the ring, and will continue to support Minnesota boxing as a whole.
