New York City (July 25, 2014) Legendary ring announcer MICHAEL BUFFER will ring the NASDAQ Closing Bell on Friday afternoon, July 25 in New York City.
In town for the“G4” World Championship Boxing event at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, Buffer will close the official trading for the day at 3:45 p.m. ET. The ceremony can be viewed on the NASDAQ website at www.nasdaq.com
Headlining “G4” is Boxing’s fastest rising star, WBA/IBO Middleweight World Champion GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN who will defend his titles against two-time world champion DANIEL “The Real Deale” GEALE.
“Road to Golovkin/Geale” replays on HBO include: July 25 (5:30 p.m. & 1:00 a.m.), and 26 (8:45 a.m.). All times are ET/PT.
Golovkin currently has sixteen knockouts in a row and the highest knockout ratio (89%) among all active champions. Additionally, with his extraordinary growth in viewership on HBO, Golovkin has become a must-see attraction in the international sporting world.
