Tonight at Sunset Station in San Antonio, Texas, Lightweight prospect Rashad Ganaway will take his next step towards title contention and mainstream legitimacy when he takes on tough fight veteran Justo Vallecillo in the main event of a six bout Triple A Promotions fight card.

Despite experiencing some professional setbacks in the form of management and promotional issues, the Little Rock, Arkansas native truly believes he is finally on the road to a world championship.

“Everything is finally going my way,” claims the talented 29 year old fighter. “I have the right people in my corner for the first time in my professional career. I am so hungry and focused right now, and I know that it’s only a matter of time before I receive an opportunity to fight for a major world title.”

Although Ganaway will be the betting favorite going into tonight’s contest, the slick boxer/puncher is not taking his upset minded opponent lightly.

“In boxing, anything can happen and every fight can be decided with one punch. I know Vallecillo will be confident going into the contest, so it’s going to be my job to discourage him early. He’s the type of fighter that will keep coming at you if you don’t earn his respect right away. I am taking this assignment as seriously as a championship fight.”

“Mistakes happen when you take your opponents for granted. This is a new beginning to my career and there is no room for any mistakes. I’ve prepared with trainer Joe Lopez for the toughest fight imaginable, so I will be ready for anything that comes up in the ring.”
