15Rounds.com has been told that an impending fight between Derric Rossy (22-2, 10 KO’s) and Evander Holyfield (42-10-2, 27 KO’s) is in the works. The fight seems like it is a good match-up for both fighters. Rossy is looking to build on his ESPN win his last fight against Carl Davis Drumond. Holyfield is looking to make yet another run for a piece of the Heavyweight belt, even at the age of 46. Assuming the final details are ironed out, you should see this fight by the end of this year. The location is looking to be somewhere in the Orient, although no exact location is known as of now. More news to follow.
On more Heavyweight news, New York State H.W. champion Darrel Madison (14-1, 3 KO’s) is preparing for his fight against Steve Collins (20-1, 15 KO’s) in Houton, Texas, on October 8th. The fight will be the second promotional card from ex-fighter Lou Savarese. The winner of this fight looks to go up the rankings, with both men having a good record on paper. Along with what would be a big win for either man, the fight is also for the vacant USBC Heavyweight belt.
