During his time at Yahoo, Winter conceived and launched Yahoo Sports Radio, now a network of more than 500 affiliates across the US. He also launched and managed Yahoo Sports’ ecommerce business, including the Yahoo Sports Store, Yahoo Sports’ ticketing and its digital Pay-Per-View business.

Prior to Yahoo, Winter spent more than eight years at DIRECTV Sports, leading the Pay-Per-View events marketing team where he forged relationships with UFC and Pride Fighting Championships.

Winter received Yahoo’s esteemed CEO Excellence Award in 2014, honoring him for his significant contributions to the organization, and was named to the 100 People of Power & Influence list in 2012 by The Hockey News.
