Diego Sanchez scored an exciting split decision over Clay Guida in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter finale at The Pearl of The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sanchez and Guida stood toe to toe with Sanchez winning by scores of 29-28 on two cards while Guida won a card by the same 29-28 tally.

In a “Rock em Sock em” Welterweight brawl, Chris Lytle scored a three round unanimous decision over Kevin Burns.
Burns almost had Lytle out with a huge uppercut at the end of round one. Lytle turned the tide and rocked Burns in the second. In round three, Burns fought the whole round with blood streaming down the side of his face from one of Lytle’s big shots.
Lytle, 170 lbs of Indianapolis, Indiana won by scores of 29-28 on all cards to raise his record to 37-17-4. Burns, 171 lbs of Des Moines, Iowa is now 8-3.
Ross Pearson won the Ultimate Fighter Lightweight contract with a unanimous decision over Andre Winner.
Scores were 29-28 on all cards for Pearson, 155 lbs and his now 11-2-1. Winner, 156 lbs is now 10-4.
In a battle of Ultimate Fighter winner’s, Joe Stevenson scored a unanimous decision over Nate Diaz.
Scores were 29-28 on all cards for Stevenson, 155 lbs to go to 35-10. Diaz, 156 lbs of Stockton, CA is now 10-4
