This Saturday, Oct. 11, the boxing world is on notice as SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING presents two of the most significant match-ups of the year.
WBC heavyweight world champion Samuel Peter will face Vitali Klitschko, the WBC Champion Emeritus who is coming out of retirement to claim his hardware, at the O2 Arena in Berlin. The bout will be televised on same-day tape delay (SHO, 9 pm ET/PT) and immediately followed by the IBF/IBO Light Heavyweight World Championship featuring Antonio Tarver and Chad Dawson – LIVE on SHOWTIME – from the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Individually, Saturday’s fights are important match-ups for the sport. Together, they make up the most electrifying night of the year.
