(San Diego, CA) – The first challenge for all fighters is the weigh in the day before their scheduled bout. On Thursday evening at 5pm, a little over twenty-four hours before the first punch is thrown at “San Diego Fights” the first Bobby D Presents fight card of the year.

In this free and open to the public ceremony will be a special one since it will be the first time the fighters will see each other before their scheduled bout the next night.

In the main event, San Diego’s own Emmnauel “Renegade” Robles (9-0-1, 3KOs) will challenge the WBC interim Latino junior welterweight champion Yordenis Ugas (15-1, 7KOs) in a ten round or less bout.

In the semi-main event, WBC #9 ranked Kenia Enriquez (9-0, 5KOs) will make her US debut as she puts her undefeated record on the line against fellow unbeaten Noemi Bosques (4-0-2, 1KO) of St. Petersburg, Florida. The bout is scheduled for six rounds in the flyweight division.

In a special attraction, Cuban KO artist Yunier Dorticos (15-0, 15KOs) will go against Hamilton Ventura (13-0-1, 11KOs) in a ten round cruiserweight bout for the WBA Fedelatin title.

Also featured on the card will be local super middlweight Ulises Sierra (4-0-1, 3KOs) and featherweight Prince “Tiger” Smalls (2-0-1).

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is located at 2270 Hotel Circle N in Mission Valley. The weigh in will take place at the Hanalei Convention Center, the same venue as the fight card on Friday night, February 28th.
