“I train hard for every fight, I treat him like he is the best fighter I’ve ever fought, even though he is not,” Smith opened the call with.

“I would say this my toughest opponent to date, we are not looking past him,” Deteman said.

Both fighters predict this fight will not go the distance.

“It’s not going to go the distance, that’s for sure. Both of us are power punchers. He is going to end up on the canvas,” Determan said.

“I feel like playing with two or three rounds,” Smith said. “If he stand in front of me he is going to sleep early. His best bet is to try to out box me.”

To that point Determan responded “I want to slug with you, you don’t hit hard, you only have five knockouts.”

Promoter Bobby Hitz is looking forward to this fight and called both fighters true professionals

“As the promoter of this fight, regardless of the outcome of this fight, this fight to me means the most,” said Hitz. “Making this fight was by far the easiest thing I have done in this business because I dealt with guys who are true professionals.”
