OK fight fans get ready and make plans to attend next Thursday’s October 16th edition of Fight Club OC in The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center where you will get to witness six outstanding, action packed pro boxing and mixed martial arts bouts and they will sizzle! Plus the Fight Club OC Cigar Lounge will be open, the 10 VIP Suites are sold out, Johnny’s Pizzas, Newport Rib Co. dinners, and Olamendi’s Tequila will be given away to lucky fans!

Let’s start it off with 14-1 heavyweight prospect, 24 year old Alexander Flores who tasted defeat for the first time in April and after six months he is back with a new trainer in veteran Henry Ramirez and reports are that Alex is a different fighter ready to atone for his only loss and hungry to get back into the heavyweight picture. He will face a solid opponent in Lancaster’s 4-4 Avery Gibson who is coming off a big upset win over undefeated Danny Kelly on the undercard of a Golden Boy show in April. Gibson has been in tough with his last four opponents record being 27-1 and he has gone 4-2 in last six bouts.

On the mixed martial arts side of Southern California’s only hybrid fight series, it will be Fight Club OC’s own undefeated Curtis Millender who at 6-0 is looking to stay undefeated and get a step closer to a UFC or Bellator offer. But first he has to get past 8-5 veteran James Chaney out of Las Vegas. This will be a title fight with Millender’s Fight Club OC Middleweight belt on the line.

An exciting undercard will see Hawaiian Garden’s boxing prospect Saul Bustos looking to stay undefeated and go to 2-0 as he faces Taif Harris out of Lancaster. Bustos KO’d his opponent in spectacular fashion in Round 2 of his Pro Debut at the Bonaventure last month.

Also 4-0 (3ko’s) Rafael Espinoza will be making his OC debut and is managed by Frank Espinoza so you know he is a prospect.

The sparks will fly as a pair of OC middleweights battle for Orange County bragging rights. 3-0 Luc Bondole Vs.Alex Coates was supposed to take place sometime ago, but only MMA Matchmaker Mel Valenzuela and promoter Roy Englebrecht were able to make it happen. Trust us, there is no love loss between these two OC warriors and chances are someone will be going to sleep!
