Gennady Golovkin continued his dominant run by scoring his 19th consecutive stoppage as he took out Martin Murray in round eleven of their Middleweight title bout in Monte Carlo

In round four, Golovkin dropped Murray with a body shot. Second later, Murray was dropped again from a flurry of punches. In round five, Murray’s nose began to bleed as a result of an uppercut.

Golovkin continued to beat a batter Murray until Golovkin sent Murray to the deck in round ten from a hard right hand to the top of the head. Golovkin landed a hard combination on the ropes in round eleven and referee Luis Pabon stopped the bout at 2:10 of round 11.

Golovkin, 159.9 lbs is now 32-0 with 29 knockouts. Murray, 159.9 lbs of England 29-2-1.
