“CHUY” GUTIERREZ ADDED TO STACKED MAY 22ND LAS VEGAS CARD
Las Vegas, Nevada (May 8, 2015) Advance tickets are now on sale for “Knockout Night at the D”, an action packed evening of world class professional boxing set for Friday, May 22 at Las Vegas’ hottest new location, the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
Presented by Roy Jones’ Square Ring Promotions, Championship Title Boxing and the D Las Vegas Casino Hotel, tickets priced at $59, $39 and $26 are now available through Ticketmaster (Ticketmaster.com) and through the D Las Vegas Box Office (702-388-2100).
Just added to the stacked card is top undefeated lightweight prospect and popular Las Vegas fan favorite EL HURACAN “Chuy” GUTIERREZ.
Known for his huge legion of loyal Las Vegas fans, the 26-year-old Gutierrez sporting a record of 13-0-0, will be making the first start of his 2015 campaign following a sensational 2014, including three huge victories in the boxing capital town.
Most recently Gutierrez defeated Rashad Ganaway on September 20 capturing the vacant World Boxing Council United States Lightweight Title.
Already announced in the main event for “Knockout Night at the D” is a 10-round lightweight battle between heavy handed and undefeated RICHARD COMMEY of Accra, Ghana and Houston, Texas’ crafty, southpaw BAHODIR “Baha” MAMADJONOV for the vacant International Boxing Federation Inter-Continental Lightweight Title.
“Knockout Night at the D” will be telecast nationally on CBS Sports Network (1:30am ET/10:30pm PT, re-air on May 23, 10:00pm ET/ 7:00pm PT).
In a special attraction bout, undefeated light heavyweight MIKE LEE will return to battle and then join Hall of Fame commentator AL BERNSTEIN and his partner BARRY TOMPKINS on the televised call of the main event.
