Fight Network Presents ONE: Dynasty of Champions & WSOF 27

Toronto – Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, presents a pair of stacked live mixed martial arts events this Saturday, Jan. 23, beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET with a live broadcast of ONE Championship: Dynasty of Champions from Changsha, China. Later, at 10 p.m. ET, Fight Network presents World Series of Fighting 27: Future Champs live from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tenn.

ONE: Dynasty of Champions will air live exclusively across Canada, while WSOF 27 will be televised in Canada and globally in over 30 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Headlining ONE: Dynasty of Champions, bantamweight beltholder Bibiano Fernandes (18-3) battles Kevin Belingon (13-4) in a five-round affair. Other featured bouts include a bantamweight clash between undefeated Tajikistan native Muin Gafurov (9-0) and Finnish standout Toni Tauru (10-2-1), a flyweight matchup pitting Filipino prospect Roy Doliguez (6-2) against Japan’s Asuka Mikami (5-1), plus Kai Wen Li (4-2) throws down with Sen Yang (2-0) in an all-Chinese featherweight attraction.

Meanwhile, WSOF 27: Future Champs showcases a bevy of top prospects, as the light heavyweight main event features heavy-handed finisher Teddy Holder (9-2) taking on undefeated Russian Shamil Gamzatov (9-0). In the co-feature, Luiz Firmino (18-6) steps in as a late replacement for Mike Ricci in a lightweight bout opposite Caros “The Future” Fodor (10-4). Rounding out the main card, Jaleel Willis (5-0) meets Chauncey Foxworth (2-0) in a showcase of unbeaten welterweights, while Jorge Medina (4-2) squares off with Bryce Mitchell (4-0) in the lightweight opener.

In addition, Fight Network is the Canadian destination for UFC live events, library content, specials and series, including UFC Unleashed, UFC Now, UFC Ultimate Insider and classic UFC PPV events.

This Sunday, Jan. 24 at 9 p.m. ET, catch a full encore presentation of UFC 167: St-Pierre vs. Hendricks from November 2013 in Las Vegas, featuring Canadian legend Georges St-Pierre’s last appearance in the world-famous Octagon as he defends his welterweight title against top contender Johny Hendricks, plus Rashad Evans meets Chael Sonnen, Robbie Lawler battles Rory MacDonald and Tyron Woodley faces Josh Koscheck.
