The Romanian Baluta, who currently lives and trains in Bushey, Hertfordshire, has already upset the Midlands applecart once by defeating Brad Foster to win the WBC International title at York Hall back in May and now his gaze is firmly fixed on British champion Davies, who claimed his crown with victory over Marc Leach in June in Telford.

“All I can say about Liam Davies is that he will feel sorry for accepting this fight,” said the former WBO European champion.

“I never underestimate my opponent, clearly, but let’s be honest, I will be the toughest opponent Liam Davies has ever had. He has never fought anyone tougher than me.

“It motivates me even more that I will be fighting in his home town.

“My plan is to finish this fight from the first round with a KO and this is what I have been working on, winning by knockout.

“I am prepared to fight for 12 rounds, but my plan is to knock him out.”

MARTINEZ MEETS CARMONA IN PHOENIX

Julio Cesar Martinez will defend his WBC World Flyweight title against Samuel Carmona at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona on December 3, live worldwide on DAZN – the co-main event bout as Juan Francisco Estrada and Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez meet in a trilogy clash for the WBC and Ring Magazine Super-Flyweight titles.

TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW VIA TICKETMASTER

Martinez (18-2 14 KOs) puts his title on the line for the fifth time since landing the vacant belt in December 2019, and the fiery Mexican is back in action for the first time since challenging one half of the headline fight, Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez for the WBC Diamond Super-Flyweight title in March.

‘El Rey’ was set to face long-running rival McWilliams Arroyo in a rematch in Glendale, but as neck and back issues have ruled the Puerto Rican out, the door is opened for Carmona (8-0 4 KOs) to land his first World title shot. The unbeaten Spaniard, who represented his country in the 2016 Olympic Games, has cruised to 8-0 in the paid ranks since turning pro in September 2019 and landed the WBA International title at 112lbs in just his fourth pro fight.

“I’m excited to be getting back in the ring and defending my WBC belt again,” said Martinez. “It’s unfortunate the Arroyo rematch is not happening, but it’s a huge chance for Samuel and he’s young and hungry, so you know he will bring everything on the night.

“But as we say, with everything except fear, I will rise to this challenge and show that next year, we are coming for all the belts.”

“I am very happy to fight Martinez,” said Carmona. “I am going to work hard to bring victory to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Spain. You are going to see a great Carmona on December 3.”

Also announced for the card is another Flyweight showdown as Mexico’s Joselito Velazquez and Nicaragua Cristofer Rosales clash over ten rounds. Velazquez (15-0-1 10 KOs) steps back through the ropes for the first time since landing a sixth round stoppage win over Jose Soto in Las Vegas on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs. Dmitry Bivol, and ‘El Huracan’, ranked #4 with the IBF and #13 with the WBC will be gunning for and impressive win over the former World champion to enter the World title picture in 2023.

Rosales (34-6 21 KOs) has his own designs on recapturing a World strap as he targets a third straight win to add further momentum to his drive to become a two-time World ruler. The 28 year old held the WBC crown in 2018 and faced Julio Cesar Martinez for the vacant belt in Phoenix in 2019, and will be aiming to notch the first win of the night for Nicaraguan boxing, before Chocolatito in the main event.

“I’m happy to be fighting on DAZN,” said Velazquez. “I know Cristofer is a tough fighter but I’m hungry for success and I’m ready to stand out and put on a great performance. I’m showing up to please the fans so I’m going to give everything I have.”

“Thank God I’m fine, this fight came at a good time,” said Rosales. “I am training conscientiously; I want to show off and shine again. You can expect the usual Cristofer Rosales, I will go to deliver everything, I am proudly Nicaraguan, and I am going to die with my boots on. I am motivated, I come from the ashes, and I will rise like the Phoenix.  I am preparing myself to the fullest to show off that day.

“I’ll go looking for the knockout, I know it’s not that easy, but I’m going to look for it. I don’t know in which round, but I will always look for it. He has his plan, but I’m going to throw him.  That night we will see who of the two will turn off the light and stay watching fireworks.”

Diego Pacheco faces a big step up in his fourth fight of 2022, as he defends his WBC USNBC Super-Middleweight title against the unbeaten Timur Kerefov. Pacheco (160- 13 KOs) stopped Enrique Collazo in five rounds to land the title in Las Vegas in September on the undercard of the trilogy clash between Canelo Alvarez and Gennadiy ‘GGG’ Golovkin, seeing the rangy Los Angeles talent record a 13th stoppage win in 16 fights unbeaten.

Kerefov (13-0 7 KOs) will pose a serious threat to Pacheco’s desire to retain his title and unbeaten record, with the Detroit-based 32 year old unbeaten in 13 pro fights since debut in September 2018, having turned pro as a heavily decorated amateur champion who won numerous tournaments and 298 of his 310 unpaid fights.

“I’m very happy with my work the way I’ve been preparing with my team for these fights,” said Pacheco. “I am grateful for the opportunity and this one will be a special one, going up against a tough undefeated opponent in front of a big crowd in Arizona to close out the year with another great win. Don’t miss it.”

“I was looking for the fight that somehow will elevate my standing in pro boxing ranks,” said Kerefov. “Thanks to Eddie Hearn and DAZN, I have got that opportunity and I will do everything to take it with both hands.”

After a successful debut in Cleveland, Ohio tonight (November 12), former Brazilian amateur star Beatriz Ferreira will fight for the second time as a pro in Glendale. Talented WBC Silver Cruiserweight Champion Noel Mikaelyan  Joins Forces With World’s Greatest Boxing Promoter Don King

Deerfield Beach, FL (Nov. 11, 2022) – The world’s greatest boxing promoter’s stable of champions just got bigger as Hall of Famer Don King signed WBC Silver Cruiserweight Champion Noel Mikaelyan to a promotional contract.

“The fantastic WBC Silver Cruiserweight Champion, Noel Mikaelyan, believes that there is no one out there he can’t beat, said King, who also promotes the current WBC Cruiserweight World Champion Ilunga Makabu.   “Both of these two super great WBC Super Cruiserweight Champions feel they are the world’s best.   My mission has always been to give the people what they want and pit the best against the best.  What a super sensational attraction that would be if these two fighters would eventually meet.

“Mikaelyan should have won the Super Six Cruiserweight tournament.  The judges saw it differently and took his title opportunity from him after a great performance, only to be denied.  He’s ready to show them that he belongs at the top,” said King, who was honored by the WBC at their annual convention in Acapulco as “The Best Promoter in History”.

King was unable to attend the WBC Convention as he was under doctor’s care, but he still was hard at work signing Mikaelyan and state “my heart and my mind was with the WBC Board and I greatly appreciate the honor that has been bestowed upon me.”

“I’m excited to sign with the legendary Don King, a true icon and a trailblazer who has promoted some of the biggest stars in the world of boxing,” said Mikaelyan.  “I believe Don is perfectly suited to guide my career and give me the opportunities and platform to become a world champion and realize my dreams. I can’t wait to fight under the DKP banner.”

The 32-year-old German has only two blemishes in his professional career of 28 bouts.  His record stands at 26-2 with 11 KOs.

His last fight on February 12 of this year saw him score a unanimous decision over Youri Kayembre Kalenga to win the WBC Silver Cruiserweight title.  He dominated the fight as the three judges had the fight 119-109, 118-110 and 117-111.

Mikaelyan won the WBC International Cruiserweight title as he knocked out Jesse Bryan in the fourth round on Dec. 12, 2020.

The two losses on his record were close decisions, the last one coming Nov. 10, 2018 for the WBC Diamond Cruiserweight championship.  Mikaelyan felt he beat Mairis Briedis, but the judges saw differently scoring the fight 114-112 115-111 and 116-110 in favor of Briedis.

His first loss came after a 21-bout winning streak came to an end on May 20, 2017 when Krzysztof Wlodarczyl won another controversial majority decision with the judges after one judge had it 115-113 for Noel and the other two judges seeing it 116-112 and 115-114 of his opponent.

WBO INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DAVID LIGHT WILL DEFEND HIS TITLE AGAINST BRANDON GLANTON ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2, IN PLANT CITY, FLORIDA STREAMED LIVE ON PROBOXTV.COM AND THE PROBOX TV APP

Plant City, Florida, November 11, 2022. —  In a battle of undefeated World Boxing Organization (WBO) top-ten ranked junior heavyweights (200 lbs.), Brandon Glanton and David Light will battle for Light’s WBO International Junior Heavyweight Title. The show will take place at the White Sands Events Center in Plant City on Friday, December 2 and be streamed live on ProBoxTV.com and the ProBox TV app.

Tickets, starting at $40, can be purchased at Eventbrite.com HERE

David “The Great White” Light (19-0, 12 KOs) from Takapuna, New Zealand won the WBO International title on May 5, 2022, with a first-round knockout.  He is ranked No. 6 by the WBO. His most recent bout on October 8 was a second-round knockout win.

“Training is going great – it’s hardest I have ever trained in my life and I am leaving no stone unturned,” said Light. “We have watched Glanton and he’s a very good strong fighter, the sort of guy people avoid but we are up for the challenge and totally believe we have got what it takes to win. We coming to beat him at his own game. We are coming to put him to sleep. After December 2nd everyone is going to know who I am as losing is not an option.”

Brandon “Bulletproof” Glanton (17-0, 14 KOs) from Atlanta, Georgia is ranked No. 10 by the WBO and is coming off three consecutive KO wins, the last a second-round blowout of Mario Aguilar on September 9, in Plant City on ProBox TV.

Glanton is from Atlanta, GA where he does his maintenance training.  He does his heavy training in Fort Mitchell, Alabama, where he is now.

This guy is my next victim,” said Glanton. “I have been training pretty hard for him.  I take everybody seriously, but I am going to melt this guy. He is a one-two fighter and has decent hand speed – not much foot movement or power but he’s a veteran and knows his way around the ring.  He will look to make it a rangy fight, but I am just the opposite.  For as long as it lasts it will be a great fight for the fans. I won’t pick what round it will end – it will come down to however way I am feeling.  I am going to knock him out and the tougher he is the better.  I am going to hurt this guy. I will lay him out cold.

“ProBox has been nothing short of amazing and Garry Jonas saw what I bring to the table and is helping push my career to the next level, And I’m happy I have some great names commenting behind me.”

The remainder of the card is stacked with undefeated fighters, including Orlando’s Darrelle Valsaint (6-0, 5 KOs); Julio Solis (8-0, 6 KOs) from Caguas Puerto Rico; Jaycob Gomez (6-0-1, 5 KOs) from Caguas, Puerto Rico; and Jusiyah Shirley (7-0, 6 KOs) from Orlando.

VIDEO: MONTANA LOVE VS. STEVE SPARK PRESS CONFERENCE

QUOTES FROM LOVE VS. SPARK FINAL PRESS CONFERENCE

Montana Love

On Steve Spark: “He’s getting too comfortable. I’ve been playing it cool because you are from out of town and you’ve been humble, but I will step on you, in or out of the ring. You are tripping, being disrespectful – just keep it on boxing, keep it cool.

“I am not worried about Richardson. On Stevie, I take my hat off to him, he’s a great fighter, pressure fighter, but it’s nothing I’ve never seen before. In this same arena, we had the Russian [Ivan Baranchyk] who said the same words as Stevie – and he got laid out and hasn’t fought since. He has a great style, but you haven’t fought anyone brother. It’s going to be a tremendous fight; we’re going to run Stevie into some traps and we’re going to put his ass to sleep. I know he is coming to fight but he’s getting taken out.

“He has never faced anyone like me, he’s had a good camp, he’s had some great sparring, but it’s not going to be enough.”

On Richardson Hitchins: “I’ve never seen a fighter getting dropped [by a promoter] while being undefeated. He had an opportunity to fight me in 2019 when I was independent and he was with the Money Team. They turned me down. Now I’m sitting next to the big dog [Eddie Hearn] this is the real money team, and now he’s chasing the bag, as he should.”

Steve Sparks

“I haven’t come halfway across the world to not beat Montana Love. And not just beat him, I’m going to knock this man out. He’s chinny and he’s got a glass jaw.

“I’ve asked for this kind of opportunity because I believe I’m ready for a World title next year. So, I must go out there and beat people like Montana and not just beat him but do it in good fashion, so I must have my wits about me, I know the level of fight this is. I’m excited to be on DAZN and I’m going to shine, he knows this is a hard fight for him, and he’s a hard fight for me. This is the fight of the night; it’s going to be great. I don’t see this fight going the distance.

“It’s do or die in this fight. All or nothing. I’m not going home without that belt. I’m taking it back to Australia.”

Richardson Hitchins

“When you are facing somebody like me you got to come ready. A great fighter like me you should never ever slack not one bit, and I’m looking to take care of business Saturday night. And after that if Montana Love even gets his job done me and him is next. And if he tries to hide from me and him fighting next, we got to see each other in 2023, that’s my goal.

“I came to Ohio cause I’m the truth. I feel like I’m the best fighter on this card and I’m the best fighter in the 140lb division, so it starts like I said on Saturday night. I’m going to show up and show out in his city and hopefully Montana can match that energy.”

Yomar Alamo

“I’ve been prepared like I prepare for all my fights, and we’ve made all the necessary changes to look better and stronger in this fight.”

Raymond Ford

“We’re coming here to dominate. Whether it comes down to a 10 round decision or I stop him early, it really don’t matter. But I’m coming out victorious.

“He [Lukas] got the experience and everything, he’s been around a long time 38 years old. I’m just going to get him out of boxing and send him on his way out.”

Sakaria Lukas

“Saturday night I’m ready to go. You eat or get eaten. Talk is cheap and we can talk the whole night or the whole day but it’s going to change once you get smacked in the face.”

Christian Tapia

“We’re more than prepared to walk away with the victory.”

Thomas Mattice

“We ready. We train extremely hard, had a full camp. I don’t really have much talking to do, I’m ready to handle business. My mind is to hurt something and that’s it.”

Khalil Coe

“This is what boxing is about, taking the tough fights and giving the people a show and giving your best. So that what we want to do and what we’re going to do.”

Beatrice Ferreira

“I prepared a long time for this moment this big opportunity and there’s nothing better than to be here in the best place in the world for boxing to make my debut and I want people to be happy with my performance.”

David Rodriguez
“I’ve been around World champions, been in the ring with World champions, got nothing but knowledge and skills, technique, and fundamentals. I got everything to show everyone.”

Love and Spark clash on a stacked card in Cleveland, with the co-main bout featuring a Matchroom debut for Richardson Hitchins also at Super-Lightweight, where the Brooklyn talent faces Yomar Alamo for the IBF North American title.

Raymond Ford continues to catch the eye in his rise in the Featherweight division and defends his WBA Continental Americas title against Sakaria Lukas and Christian Tapia takes on Cleveland’s Thomas Mattice for the WBA Continental Americas Super-Featherweight title.
