COMPLETE CARD ANNOUNCED FOR ONE: CLASH OF LEGENDS IN BANGKOK, THAILAND

16 January 2019 – Bangkok, Thailand: The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), has just announced the complete card for ONE: CLASH OF LEGENDS, set for Saturday, 16 February at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. In the main event, Thai legend Nong-O Gaiyanghadao battles Chinese superstar Han Zi Hao for the inaugural ONE Super Series Muay Thai Bantamweight World Championship.

Ticket information for ONE: CLASH OF LEGENDS is available at www.onefc.com.

Considered one of the greatest strikers of all time, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao has captured nearly every accolade in Muay Thai. Competing in over 300 professional bouts, he claimed two Thailand National Muay Thai Championships, four Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Championships in different divisions, and a Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Championship.

Now, Nong-O looks to cement his place among the world’s best strikers in ONE Super Series by attempting to win the greatest prize in martial arts — the ONE World Title.

Standing in his way is China’s Han Zi Hao, who has become a breakout star in ONE Super Series. Han is riding a three-bout win streak, and he looks to extend it — and capture the gold — at ONE: CLASH OF LEGENDS.

Kongsak P.K. Saenchaimuaythaigym is set to make his first appearance on the ONE Super Series stage. He will square off against Alaverdi “Dagger” Ramazanov in a three-round bantamweight bout.

A three-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, Kongsak is a fan favorite in his home country of Thailand as he has won over fans with his menacing middle kicks. With a battle-tested record of 182-39-2, Kongsak has the experience of a grizzled veteran despite being just 28 years of age.

Representing the prestigious Venum Training Camp, Ramazanov is a three-time IFMA World Champion with a stellar professional record of 59-4-0. He has won two of his last three outings in ONE Super Series. After falling short in his most recent bout, Ramazanov looks to redeem himself at the expense of a Muay Thai superstar such as Kongsak.

South Korean martial arts star and former KAMMA Bantamweight Champion Dae Hwan “Ottogi” Kim had a busy 2018, going 2-1 on the year with victories over tough opponents like Masakazu Imanari and Zhao Zhi Kang. To kick off his 2019, he shares the ONE Championship stage with Japan’s Shuya “Stealth” Kamikubo.

Kim joined the promotion in 2013, posting victories over Thanh Vu and Kevin Belingon in his first two bouts in ONE Championship. In 2014, Kim challenged Bibiano Fernandes for the ONE Bantamweight World Championship. With incredible striking prowess and solid grappling ability, Kim is one of the top contenders in his division. Another victory will push him closer to a title opportunity.

However, Kamikubo seeks to impede Kim from entering the title picture by getting his third consecutive win under the ONE Championship banner. The DEEP Tournament Champion aced his two assignments in 2018, stopping Indonesia’s Sunoto via second-round TKO and then dominating Muhammad Aiman over the course of three rounds to earn a unanimous decision. A victory over Kim would raise Kamikubo’s stock in the talent-filled bantamweight division.

Mark “Tyson” Abelardo of the Philippines will make his much-awaited debut on the main roster at ONE: CLASH OF LEGENDS, where he will lock horns with Shooto Pacific Rim Featherweight Champion Daichi Takenaka of Japan.

Abelardo earned a ONE Championship contract in October 2018, defeating Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg via first-round stoppage at Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series 3. After leaving a lasting impression in ONE Warrior Series, Abelardo is determined to make an impact on the most prestigious stage of global competition by taking on the 29-year-old phenom from Osaka, Japan.

Ever since his professional debut in 2012, Takenaka has been unstoppable, rattling off 11 consecutive wins with six finishes. He looks to sustain his winning momentum by picking up a victory over Abelardo.

Naksu Champion Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai of Thailand makes his return to action against South Korean debutant Tae Kyun “Ares” Kim.

Along with his elite martial arts skills and explosive knockout power, Wiratchai’s highly-entertaining walkouts to the ONE cage have also made him a fan favorite. With his very own “OneShin Striking System” that utilizes creative combinations, the Thai star has proven to be a well-rounded competitor.

Next up, he faces Kim, an undefeated mixed martial artist and multiple-time South Korean national judo champion. He is one of the brightest martial arts stars to emerge from South Korea who now makes his way to ONE Championship. Driven by the idea of putting his home country on the international radar in the sport, Kim takes on dangerous striker Wiratchai.

“Smokin’” Jo Nattawut of Thailand will face French dynamo Samy “AK47” Sana in a ONE Super Series Muay Thai contest.

A two-division Lion Fight World Champion and WMC Muay Thai World Champion, Nattawut is one of the finest attacking talents in the striking world. Right from the opening bell, he ignites the ring with his trademark intensity, and it has led him to sterling success in his striking career.

Nattawut will meet a seasoned and game opponent in Sana, a WBC and A1 Muay Thai World Champion who recently scored a huge victory over Armen Petrosyan via unanimous decision last November 2018.

A women’s atomweight bout is also booked as Gina “Conviction” Iniong of the Philippines goes up against Jihin “Shadow Cat” Radzuan of Malaysia.

Iniong made a name for herself as a six-time national wushu champion. After establishing herself as one of the Philippines’ top female athletes, she joined ONE Championship in 2017 and has since registered impressive wins over a tough flight of opponents.

Meanwhile, Radzuan is one of the finest female martial artists to emerge from Malaysia. The rising star joined ONE Championship in March 2018, and has since put together three remarkable victories. Radzuan looks to resume her ascent through the ranks by facing Iniong.

Two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 is set to make his ONE Super Series debut against Kun Khmer superstar Lao Chetra.

Superlek is hailed as the No. 1 super featherweight in the world of Muay Thai today. His opponent, Chetra, has become one of Cambodia’s top Kun Khmer athletes, having the chance to hold the prestigious Bayon Stadium Title.

Chamuaktong Fightermuaythai of Thailand will face Charlie “Boy” Peters of the United Kingdom in a ONE Super Series Muay Thai contest.

Chamuaktong is a Lumpinee Stadium and Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion and one of the most talented strikers in martial arts. Peters, who hails from Hartley, England, is a two-time Muay Thai World Champion himself, so expect an exceptional standup battle between the two.

Emilio Urrutia’s road to redemption begins in Jakarta, Indonesia as “The Honey Badger” is slated to test his mettle against Graduator Featherweight Champion Yoshiki Nakahara of Japan.

The 32-year-old Urrutia has competed in various countries in Asia, accumulating an impressive amount of experience in such a short amount of time. Since joining ONE Championship in 2017, Urrutia has become one of the top featherweight talents in the promotion.

His next outing will be no walk in the park as he takes on Nakahara, who has not been beaten since 2015. Nakahara rides high on a six-bout winning streak, and will look to keep his momentum going with another win.

Making her first appearance since her rousing defeat of Bozhena Antoniyar in October 2018, Rika “Tinydoll” Ishige of Thailand is set to battle it out with Cambodia’s Nou Srey Pov in a women’s atomweight contest.

Ishige, who is of mixed Japanese and Thai heritage, began her martial arts training at age nine with aikido and taekwondo. Heavily influenced by her late father who trained in judo, Ishige went on to hone her skills as a martial artist. All of her victories have ended via impressive finish, and she is considered one of Thailand’s mixed martial arts pioneers.

Nou Srey Pov is making her mixed martial arts debut, but the Cambodian Top Team product has a wealth of experience in her country’s national sport. Nou Srey Pov is a Kun Khmer World Champion with a 91-8-2 record in the discipline, and will look to test Ishige’s stand up game.

Kicking off the action at ONE: CLASH OF LEGENDS is Indonesian wrestler Elipitua Siregar who will face ONE Hefei Flyweight Tournament Champion Liu Peng Shuai in a strawweight contest.

UFC vet Lawlor joins CES MMA broadcast booth

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Jan. 10th, 2019) — Thirteen-time UFC vet and former pro wrestler “Filthy” Tom Lawlor joins play-by-play announcer Michael Parente in the broadcast booth Jan. 19th, 2019 as CES MMA makes its UFC Fight Pass debut with CES MMA 54 from Twin River Casino Hotel.

After four years with AXS TV, CES MMA now joins forces with combat sports’ No. 1 streaming service, expanding its viewership and ushering in a new era of marketing and promotion. Since its inception in 2010, CES MMA has developed the careers of several current and former UFC standouts, including Andre Soukhamthath, Charles Rosa, Rob Font, and Mike Rodriguez, among others.

Known for his flamboyant weigh-in outfits and elaborate fight entrances, Lawlor debuted with the UFC as part of the promotion’s The Ultimate Fighter reality television series in 2008. The Fall River, Mass., native, who won three national championships as a wrestler at the University of Central Florida before launching his mixed martial arts career, boasts wins over Kyle Kingsbury, Patrick Cote and Michael Kuiper, the latter on UFC on FUEL TV 9 in 2015.

Lawlor will provide color commentary alongside Parente, CES MMA’s longtime publicist, for the promotion’s Fight Pass debut. “I’m someone who’s always involved in the sport, whether it’s fighting, coaching, I spend very little time outside of the gym,” Lawlor said. “That’s the biggest positive I can bring to the broadcast team. I’m very excited to share my opinions and share my viewpoints on MMA on how it’s been, how it’s developed, and where it’s going in the future.

“I keep my finger on the pulse, not only with MMA in New England, but throughout the country and the entire world. You never know where the next superstar is going to come from. CES MMA has been able to develop a lot of good fighters and put them into the UFC, not only as a pathway from New England, but the United States as a whole. There is obviously world-class talent there and the more people that see it on Fight Pass, the better.”

Jones stops Gustafsson in 3 to win UFC Light heavyweight title

Jon Jones returned to the Octagon by winning the UFC Light Heavyweight championship with a 3rd round stoppage over Alexander Gustafsson at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Jones was proficient with his leg kicks over the first two rounds. In round two, Gustafsson started to swell under his left eye. In round three, Jones was able to take Gustafsson down. Jones got Gustafsson on his back and began to pound away at a prone foe until the bout was stopped at 2:02.

The fight, which changed it’s venue from the T-Mobile Arena to The Forum, was fought under a cloud of controversy as a PED test from Jones came back with traces of a banned substance, but it was not enough in the eyes of the California commission to postpone the fight.

Jones is now 17-1-1. Gustafsson of Sweden suffered his 2nd defeat to Jones, is now 18-5.

Amanda Nunes cemented herself as the best female fighter in the world as she annihilated Cris Cyborg in 51 seconds to capture the UFC Featherweight title.

Nunes landed crushing shot after crushing shot that sent Cyborg to the canvas on four occasions. The final time came from a wicked overhand right that dumped Cyborg face first, and the bout was stopped.

In what was a battle of Brazilians, Nunes ups her mark to 17-4. Cyborg is 20-2-1.

Nunes owns a 48 second knockout over Ronda Rousey.

BADOU JACK SUPPORTING FRIEND & FELLOW SWEDE ALEXANDER GUSTAFSSON AHEAD OF UFC TITLE FIGHT TOMORROW NIGHT AGAINST JON JONES

LAS VEGAS (December 28, 2018) – Two-division boxing champion Badou Jack will be supporting his fellow Swede, Alexander Gustafsson, in his UFC light heavyweight title fight tomorrow night against Jon Jones, and recently dined with his longtime friend while both were training in Las Vegas.

“Alexander, (Swedish UFC fighter) Ilir Latifi and I go back to the amateur days in Sweden,” said Jack. “It was great seeing them again and I’m very proud of all they’ve accomplished in the MMA world. I wish Alexander all the best in his upcoming rematch and will be cheering for him to bring Sweden another world title home.”

In the clip from “UFC Embedded”, Jack and Gustafsson talk about their friendship dating back to their amateur days in Sweden, as Gustafsson prepares for his title bout and Jack nears his showdown against Marcus Browne on the Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner pay-per-view January 19.

“Badou Jack and I go back a long time,” said Gustafsson in the clip. “He’s from Stockholm, Sweden where I’m from and he’s doing his thing in boxing while I’m in MMA. Our paths have crossed and we sparred way back in the day. We’re here to catch up and just hang out.”

In addition to sharing Swedish heritage, Jack and Gustafsson both use the Lockhart and Leith team of nutritionists and chefs to cut weight for their respective fights, something that has helped both reach the elite level of combat sports.

“They have surrounded themselves with a great team, which is essential in this sport,” said Jack. “Although it’s an individual performance, the preparation is a team effort. It was great catching up over dinner and getting our teams together for some laughter and fun in the middle of our training camps. Team Jack is 100% in their corners.”

Two titles on the line Jan. 19th at CES MMA 54

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Dec. 27th, 2018) — CES MMA kicks off the New Year with two major title fights at Twin River Casino Hotel.

Lightweight world title-holder Nate “The Snake” Andrew (14-1, 5 KOs) of East Providence, R.I., and reigning bantamweight world champion Tony Gravely (15-5, 5 KOs) of Martinsville, Va., put their belts on the line at “CES MMA 54” on Saturday, Jan. 19th, 2019 in a special 2 p.m. matinee.

In his second title defense, Andrews faces Bellator and Legacy Fighting Alliance alum Bryce Logan (9-3, 2 KOs) of Sioux Falls, S.D., while Gravely battles Milford, Mass., prospect Kris Moutinho (7-2, 3 KOs), both in five-round bouts.

Tickets for “CES MMA 54” start at $47 and are available online at www.cesmma.com or www.twinriver.com or by phone at 401-724-2253/2254. All bouts are subject to change.

The 27-year-old Gravely wastes no time defending his CES MMA World Bantamweight Title after capturing the crown Nov. 2nd at Twin River with a 36-second knockout win over Rhode Island’s Kody Nordy. Gravely was originally scheduled to face CES MMA vet Dinis Paiva Jr., who was forced to withdraw 24 hours before the event, but instead fought Nordby, whom he defeated within seconds when he broke free of an armbar attempt by slamming Nordby on his head, knocking him unconscious.

This is the biggest opportunity of Moutinho’s young career. The 26-year-old debuted in September of 2016, winning his first four bouts with CES MMA, and promptly ran off three consecutive wins this year, the most recent coming at “CES MMA 53” when he defeated James Quigg by unanimous decision.

Andrews looks to make it two in a row since capturing the vacant CES MMA World Lightweight Title at “CES MMA 49” against Chris Padilla. He won his first title defense at “CES MMA 51” in August, submitting D’Juan Owens in just over 90 seconds, and has now won eight in a row since suffering his lone defeat in 2014.

The undercard features the long-awaited return of nine-time UFC and eight-time CES MMA vet Eric Spicely (10-4, 2 KOs) of Providence, R.I., who fights for the promotion that launched his career for the first time since 2015. Spicely battles Stephen Regman (9-3, 7 KOs) of Brick, N.J.

Exciting Plymouth, Mass., strawweight Kylie O’Hearn (1-0) makes her CES MMA in a highly-anticipated showdown with Waterbury, Conn., native and nine-fight vet Jessy Miele (6-3, 1 KO), who returns to CES MMA for the first time since 2015. Light heavyweight Kevin Haley (6-4, 2 KOs) of Rollinsford, N.H., faces unbeaten Manchester, Conn., prospect William Knight (3-0) and Syracuse, N.Y., flyweight Josh Ricci (4-1) steps up to fight 22-fight vet Tateki Matsuda (13-9, 5 KOs) of Boston.

Nordby, who stepped up on less than 24 hours’ notice to face Gravely in November, returns for “CES MMA 54” alongside unbeaten Hampstead, N.H., flyweight Brandon Marrotte (4-0, 4 KOs), who won his first two bouts with CES MMA in February and June. Also on the undercard, Attleboro, Mass., bantamweight David Baxter (4-2, 1 KO) faces New York’s Al Jones (3-4, 1 KO). Baxter last fought in March of 2017 against Nordby at “CES MMA 42.”

UFC® KICKS OFF 2019 ON ESPN+ WITH FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP SUPERFIGHT BETWEEN (C) HENRY CEJUDO AND (C – BW) TJ DILLASHAW

Las Vegas – UFC® debuts on ESPN+ in Brooklyn, NY with a championship superfight that will see newly crowned flyweight titleholder Henry Cejudo make his first title defense against current bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw. Also, fan favorite Paige VanZant returns to the Octagon to take on The Ultimate Fighter: A New World Champion veteran Rachael Ostovich. UFC FIGHT NIGHT ON ESPN+®: CEJUDO vs. DILLASHAW takes place Saturday, Jan. 19 at Barclays Center and will stream live at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, with the prelims kicking off the evening at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ESPN and ESPN Deportes and the early prelims on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT. All UFC live events on ESPN+ will be available in English and Spanish.

An Olympic wrestling gold medal winner, Cejudo (13-2, fighting out of Phoenix, Ariz.) put on his most spectacular performance to date in August when he dethroned dominant flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson. During his UFC career, he has also earned impressive victories over Sergio Pettis, Wilson Reis, Jussier Formiga and Chris Cariaso. Cejudo now looks to make his first successful title defense in the biggest fight of his career.

Dillashaw (17-3, fighting out of Angels Camp, Calif.) aims to make history by joining Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier as only the third fighter to simultaneously hold championships in two UFC divisions. Dillashaw most recently defended his bantamweight belt against heated rival Cody Garbrandt by sensational KO. He also holds incredible wins against Renan Barao, John Lineker and Raphael Assuncao. Dillashaw is now poised to etch his name among the all-time UFC greats.

Looking for her first win at flyweight, VanZant (7-4, fighting out of Portland, Ore.) finally returns to action after a year off due to injury. A fan favorite for her time on season 22 of Dancing with the Stars where she placed second, VanZant is still one of the youngest fighters on the roster. She intends to show off her constantly-evolving mixed martial arts skills by outdoing her highlight reel knockout of Bec Rawlings and earning the third post-fight bonus of her career.

Ostovich (4-4, fighting out of Waianae, Hawaii) looks to start 2019 off on a high note by earning her second UFC win in the biggest opportunity of her career. A quarterfinalist on her season of The Ultimate Fighter, Ostovich has won half of her fights by submission, most recently tapping out fellow TUF competitor Karine Gevorgyan in under two minutes. She is now positioned to break into the top-15 rankings with an impressive win.

Announced bouts on the card include:

No.11-ranked light heavyweight contender and former title challenger Glover Teixeira (27-7, fighting out of Danbury, Conn. by way of Governador Valadares, Brazil) goes to war with power-punching Ion Cutelaba (14-3, fighting out of Chisinau, Moldova)
Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series signee Allen Crowder (9-3, fighting out of Mebane, N.C.) looks to spoil the highly-anticipated debut of ex-NFL star Greg Hardy (3-0, fighting out of Coconut Creek, Fla.)
No. 11-ranked Joanne Calderwood (12-3, fighting out of Glasgow, Scotland) intends to defend her top-15 rank against the debuting Ariane Lipski (11-3, fighting out of Curitiba, Brazil)
New York’s Randy Brown (10-3, fighting out of Queens, N.Y.) looks to rebound against Chance Rencountre (12-3, fighting out of Pawhuska, Okla.)
In a battle of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series contract winners, Alonzo Menifield (7-0, fighting out of Dallas, Tex.) takes on Vinicius Moreira (9-1, fighting out of Brasilia, Brazil)
Belal Muhammad (14-2, fighting out of Chicago, Ill.) meets Geoff Neal (10-2, fighting out of Dallas, Tex.) in a welterweight thriller

Zebaztian Kadestam believes loss to Ben Askren gave him valuable experience

15 November, 2018 – Jakarta, Indonesia ; Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam has seen many different battles in his seven years as a professional mixed martial artist. But for the Swedish standout, his loss against former ONE Welterweight World Champion Ben Askren last year has had the most impact in his career.

More than a year ago, Askren dominated Kadestam en route to a second-round TKO victory. It was a humbling experience for Kadestam, but despite the loss, “The Bandit” acknowledged the lessons learned from the setback, which he said should prove essential in his career moving forward.

“This defeat was the best learning experience of my career because during my whole camp I was learning so much to prepare for Ben’s wrestling. It meant I developed as a martial artist just through the process of doing my training camp,” Kadestam told onefc.com back in July.

“In the bout, I could see what he was trying to do, and his answers to what I was trying to do. Every 10 seconds, there was something he was doing that I could learn from. He was one step ahead of me in the whole bout, and I learned so much from experiencing that.

“I think my wrestling game has improved and changed completely as a result of that bout, and I am seeing it in my training. I get to a position and think: ‘How did I get to this position?’ It is from my experience of competing against Ben.

“Obviously, I was angry and disappointed immediately after the loss, but it was a learning experience, and it has actually made me a lot better. Martial arts is a journey, so you have to appreciate the ups and downs.”

Kadestam went on to put together a stunning performance against Malaysia’s Agilan Thani, whom he finished in the third round with a scintillating striking sequence.

On Saturday, 17 November, Kadestam has yet another chance to apply the lessons he learned from facing Askren as he heads toward his second chance of becoming a World Champion. Kadestam is scheduled to lock horns with undefeated American Tyler McGuire for the vacant ONE Welterweight World Title in the main event of ONE: WARRIOR’S DREAM at the Stadium Istora in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This time, Kadestam believes that he can handle the situation much better.

“I’ve been training for these kinds of guys for so long, so I’m starting to get the hang of it. I’ve been training hard, and I feel good, so I feel confident for this fight,” Kadestam ended.

ONE: WARRIOR’S DREAM – 5 Reasons To Watch The Event From Jakarta

12 November, 2018 – Jakarta, Indonesia ; ONE Championship heads back to Jakarta, Indonesia for ONE: WARRIOR’S DREAM on 17 November.

In the main event, the undefeated Tyler McGuire will get his first opportunity to compete for a world title. He will take on Zebaztian Kadestam for the vacant ONE Welterweight World Championship.

The card has a number of angles and interesting matchups. Here are five reasons to watch the show.

Tyler McGuire’s Test

The 32-year-old American has never tasted defeat inside an MMA cage. McGuire’s record sits at 11-0 heading into his battle with Kadestam. By far, Kadestam represents the toughest bout in McGuire’s career. Kadestam is 10-4 as a professional and he’s known for his ultra-aggressive approach. This is a classic striker vs. grappler matchup that could tell us just how good McGuire can be in the long run.

A World Title Will Be Decided

We’ve talked about how McGuire-Kadestam could be a great matchup. Aside from the way the two men compare from a skill standpoint, they are competing for a legitimate world title. There are only 26 men and women across the sport who can claim to be a world champion. Whenever a real world title is on the line, true fans of the sport and martial arts should take notice.

The Nieky Holzken Debut

ONE Super Series Kickboxing has already delivered some exciting bouts and featured amazing martial artists. At ONE: WARRIOR’S DREAM, a true legend of the sport will make his promotional debut. Holzken has won multiple world titles in the sport across his 16-year career as a professional kickboxer. In the co-feature, Holzken will face Cosmo Alexandre in a rematch. Holzken won their first meeting back in 2010. The 34-year-old Dutch superstar will be looking to reaffirm his superiority over Alexandre.

Another Rematch

ONE: WARRIOR’S DREAM will be the site of another rematch. The battle between “Mr. Lightning” Lerdsila Phuket Top Team and Sok Thy will take place under Muay Thai rules. The two men faced off at ONE: PINNACLE OF POWER in June. It was a bout to remember. The competition was extremely close, but Lerdsila emerged victorious with a split-decision victory. Because of how close and entertaining the first meeting was, there was a reason to run it back. Between the two veterans, they have a total of 492 Muay Thai bouts.

The Next Step For Elipitua Siregar

Dominant wrestlers have perhaps the best base for mixed martial arts. One of the most promising martial artists on the scene who has a strong wrestling background is Indonesia’s own Elipitua Siregar. He’s only 21 years old, and he’s had just two professional mixed martial arts bouts, but he tallied a finish in both.

The product of Bali MMA is seeing a spike in competition at ONE: WARRIOR’S DREAM. He steps into the cage to face Pakistani veteran Muhammad “The Spider” Imran. If Siregar can be victorious, we may be seeing the maturation of Indonesia’s next martial arts superhero. Here is a look at the entire card from Jakarta:

Tyler McGuire vs. Zebaztian Kadestam (For Vacant ONE Welterweight World Title)

Nieky Holzken vs. Cosmo Alexandre (Kickboxing)

Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol vs. Angelie Sabanal

Pongsiri Mitsatit vs. Hayato Suzuki

Lerdsila Chumpairtour vs. Sok Thy (Muay Thai)

Zach Zane vs. Jimmy Yabo

Elipitua Siregar vs. Muhammad Imran

Egi Rozten vs. Eddey Kalai

Zhao Zhi Kang vs. Dae Hwan Kim

Eugene Toquero vs. Tatsumitsu Wada

Brown Pinas vs. Yohann Drai (Muay Thai)

Xie Chao vs. Bruno Pucci

UFC® ENDS YEAR WITH TWO THRILLING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS

Las Vegas – UFC® will put an exclamation point on 2018 with a pair of blockbuster world championship fights. In a bout to crown a new light heavyweight champion, former titleholder Jon Jones will take on No.1 contender Alexander Gustafsson in a rematch of their 2013 classic. Also, women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg aims for her third successful defense against bantamweight titleholder Amanda Nunes. UFC® 232: JONES vs. GUSTAFSSON 2 takes place Saturday, Dec. 29 from T-Mobile Arena and will air live on Pay-Per-View.

The most dominant light heavyweight champion ever, Jones (23-1 1NC, fighting out of Albuquerque, N.M.) is looking to regain his spot atop the division. During his previous reign, he earned spectacular victories over Daniel Cormier, Glover Teixeira, Rashad Evans, Lyoto Machida and Quinton Jackson. His first encounter with Gustafsson yielded arguably the greatest light heavyweight championship fight in UFC history. He’s now ready to run it back against one of the toughest tests of his career.

A two-time title challenger, Gustafsson (18-4, fighting out of Stockholm, Sweden) is hoping the third time will prove to be the charm. A talented and devastating striker, he has netted incredible wins against Glover Teixeira, Jimi Manuwa, Shogun Rua, Vladimir Matyushenko and Matt Hamill. Though he came up short against Jones in their first bout, he came close to edging the then-champ on judges’ scorecards. He is now gunning to even the score and capture UFC gold.

The first and only women’s featherweight champion, Cyborg (20-1 1NC, fighting out of Huntington Beach, Calif. by way of Curitiba, Brazil) has not lost a bout in over 13 years. Throughout her storied career, she has secured thrilling victories over former bantamweight champ Holly Holm, Yana Kunitskaya, Tonya Evinger, Marloes Coenen and Gina Carano. She’s now poised to put on another vintage performance and deliver her 18th career knockout victory.

Nunes (16-4, fighting out of Miami, Fla. by way Salvador, Brazil) looks to make history by becoming the first female two-division champ in UFC history. During her current run of dominance, she’s picked up impressive wins against UFC Hall of Fame inductee and inaugural titleholder Ronda Rousey, former champ Miesha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko, Raquel Pennington and Sara McMann. She now plays the role of underdog against the most destructive women’s fighter the sport has ever seen.

Additional bouts on the card include:

Former interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit (30-12, fighting out of Albuquerque, N.M.) welcomes dangerous finisher Michael Chiesa (14-4, fighting out of Spokane Valley, Wash.) to the 170-pound division
In a clash of light heavyweight contenders, No.4-ranked Ilir Latifi (15-5 1NC, fighting out of Malmo, Sweden) looks to keep his momentum rolling against surging No.7 Corey Anderson (12-4, fighting out of Robbinsville, N.J.)
Two-time featherweight title challenger and No.5-ranked contender Chad Mendes (18-4, fighting out of Sacramento, Calif.) squares off with rising No.11 Alexander Volkanovski (18-1, fighting out of Windang, Australia)
Former heavyweight champ and No.13-ranked contender Andrei Arlovski (27-17 1NC, fighting out of Chicago, Ill. by way of Minsk, Belarus) aims to rebound against hard-hitting Walt Harris (11-7, fighting out of Birmingham, Ala.)
