PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – January 6, 2026 –On Saturday night, January 17th, undefeated and world ranked heavyweight Dainier Pero will headline a seven-bout card at The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The card is promoted by King’s Promotions.

Pero, 26-years-old of Miami via Cameguay, Cuba is ranked number-seven by the WBA and has a record of 11-0 with eight knockouts.

 As an amateur, Peró won gold medals at both the 2019 Pan American Games and 2016 Youth World Championships.. Peró also competed at the 2020 Olympics.

The four-year pro is promoted by Boxlab Promotions and has victories over James Evans (7-1-1), Walter Burns (8-2) and his last outing when he won a 10-round unanimous decision over Cesar Navarro (13-2) on May 9, 2025 in Orlando, Florida.

NEW YORK, NY – April 5, 2024 – Today, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) announced the full card for Most Valuable Prospects VI, the second installment of the Most Valuable Prospects 2024 series, taking place on Friday, April 26 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, FL available globally on DAZN subscription with Boxlab Promotions serving as the official licensed promoter. Most Valuable Prospects VI, presented by CELSIUS Live Fit Essential Energy, will feature thirteen undefeated rising stars and will feature ten fights total with a total combined record of 97-4-2 with 59 KOs. The event will be headlined by top-ranked super welterweight Yoenis Tellez (7-0, 6 KOs) vs. Joseph Jackson (19-0, 15 KOs) for the WBA Latin America Continental Championship. Heavyweight Danier Pero (6-0, 4 KOs), the 24-year-old 6’5” Cuban talent, will return to Most Valuable Prospects following his decisive second-round KO win over Joe Jones at Most Valuable Prospects V in February 2024. The Olympian comes to the ring from Las Vegas, Nevada by way of Camaguey, Cuba. Pero will challenge a to-be-announced opponent in a 6-round heavyweight battle. With his formidable size, Pero will present a difficult challenge on Friday, April 26th, as the heavy-hitter seeks to continue his undefeated streak. Pero and his opponent will face off on the main card of Most Valuable Prospects VI alongside lightweights and local favorites Aguilar vs. Rios and featherweights Rivera vs. Perez ahead of the main event showdown between world-class super welterweight Yoenis Tellez vs. Joseph Jackson for the WBA Latin America Continental Championship.

In the preliminary rounds, MVP will host a series of star young prospects as they battle for victory on Friday, April 26th. Joining the foray of must-watch bouts will be Amanda Serrano’s newest signee, Alexis Chaparro, who will make his professional debut on the card in a four-round middleweight fight. The 23-year-old Chaparro, born in Puerto Rico and raised in Ridgewood, New York, is a three-time national boxing champion who competed at both the 2020 and 2024 USA Boxing Olympic trials. The gifted athlete is also a high fashion model, having worked for Versace, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, and Polo Ralph Lauren, among others. PHILADELPHIA (JUNE 29, 2022)–On Saturday night July 23rd, a spectacular eight-round main event featuring Philadelphia contender Avery Sparrow and undefeated William Foster III will headline a huge night of boxing at The Fillmore Philadelphia.

The fantastic 11-bout card is promoted by Hard Hitting Promotions.

Sparrow of Philadelphia has a record of 11-3 with four knockouts. The 28 year-old Sparrow is an eight-year professional who has big wins over Anthony Burgin (10-2), Isaelin Florian Hernandez (6-0), Joey Laviolette (6-0), Jose Lopez (19-1-1), former world title challenger Hank Lundy (29-7-1) and his last bout, Sparrow stopped Matt Conway to win the IBA World Super Featherweight and Pennsylvania Super Featherweight title on January 15th in Conway’s backyard in Cheswick, Pennsylvania.

Foster of New Haven, Connecticut is 14-0 with nine knockouts. The 28 year-old is a seven year professional who has wins over Suliman Segawa (10-0), Angel Suarez (8-2), Jahmal Dyer (9-2), Philly-Favorite Donald Smith (10-0). In his last bout, Foster took an eight-round split decision over Edwin De Los Santos (13-0) on January 7th in Orlando, Florida. The bout was part of a ShoBox: The New Generation card.

In the co-feature, Undefeated WBA-NABA Super Featherweight and WBC Continental Americas champion Christian Tapia takes on undefeated Fernando Romero in a 10-round bout.

Tapia of Coamo, Puerto Rico has a record of 14-0 with 12 knockouts. The 28 year-old is a five-year veteran. He won the WBA-NABA title with a second round stoppage over Mason Menard (36-5). He then stopped Iron Alvarez (14-0) in 10-rounds. In his last bout, Tapia won a 10-round unanimous decision over Luis Lebron (18-2-1) to capture the WBC Continental Americas title on March 12th in Philadelphia.

Romero of Puebla, Mexico is 11-0 with 10 knockouts. The 22 year-old Romero is a four-year professional and is coming off a first round stoppage over Victor Valencia Diaz on October 16, 2021 in Mexico. This will be the United States debut for Romero as all of his fights have been in Mexico.
