In a battle of undefeated welterweights. Conor Benn took a 12-round unanimous decision over Peter Dobson at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

Benn landed a lot of more of the telling shots in the fights, but Dobson was feisty and landed several solid right hands in the middle rounds. It was Benn’s work rate and effective punching that won him most of the rounds to the tune of 119-109 and 118-110 twice.

Benn landed 246 of 552 punches. Dobson was 146 of 505.

Ammo Williams Stops Mbumba-Yassa in 7

World-ranked middleweight Austin Williams stopped Armel Mbumba-Yassa in a scheduled 10-round bout.

In round six, Williams hurt Mbumba-Yassa as he landed a body shot that sent hurt Mbumba-Yassa, Williams put him down with a barrage of punches in the corner. Williams continued the assault and hurt Mbumba-Yassa again in the round. In round seven, Mbumba-Yassa landed a perfect left that put Mbumba-Yassa straight down on his back under the bottom rope, and the fight was halted at 2:52

Williams, 159.8 lbs of Houston is now 16-0 with 11 knockouts. Mbumba-Yassa, 159.8 lbs of Leverkusen, GER is 10-1.

Fisher Stops Bezus in One

Popular English heavyweight Johnny Fisher brought his act to Las Vegas and his adoring fans followed as he scored an opening round stoppage over Dmytro Bezus in a scheduled eight-round bout.

Fisher unleashed a vicious flurry of head shots that forced referee Robert Hoyle to stop the bout at 2:51.

Fisher, 242.8 lbs of Romford, ENG is 11-0 with 10 knockouts. Bezus, 270 lbs of Severodonesk, UKR is 10-2.

Coe Destroys Osuna in 2

Khalil Coe scored the biggest win of his career with a second round stoppage of Gerardo Osuna in a light heavyweight bout.

In round two, Coe dropped Osuna with a hard right to the body. Seconds later Coe dropped Osuna for a second time with the same body shot. Coe made it three knockdowns with a jab to the body and referee Allen Huggins stopped the bout at 1:14.

Coe, 175.8 lbs of Jersey City, NJ is 8-0-1 with six knockouts. Osuna, Baja California, MEX 20-1.

George Liddard remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Andrew Buchanan in a battle of undefeated middleweights.

Liddard, 162.4 lbs of Essex. ENG won by 60-54 scores and is now 6-0. Buchanan, 164.4 lbs of Hesperia, CA is 3-1-1.

Jimmy Sains remained perfect with a first round stoppage of Alejandro Avalos in a four-round middleweight fight.

In round one, Sains dropped Avalos with a right hand to the head. Sains finished things off by landing a booming right that put Avalos down and the fight was immediately stopped by referee Alan Huggins at 2:47

Sains, 165.4 lbs of Essex, ENG is 3-0 with three knockouts. Alvalos, 161.6 lbs of Sam Antonio is 1-3.

Former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua took out Robert Helenius in round seven of their 12 round heavyweight bout at The O2 Arena in London.

The fight lacked action for the most most part. Joshua slowly turned up his punch rate in round’s five and six. In round seven, Joshua uncorked a right hand that landed on the jaw that plummeted Helenius on his back and the fight was over at 1:27.

Joshua, 250 lbs of Watford, ENG is now 26-3 with 23 knockouts. Helenius, 249.4 lbs of Mariehamm, FIN is 32-5.

Helenius took the fight on about four-days notice after original opponent Dillian Whyte was taken out of the fight due to a failed test for a banned substance,

Chisora Decisions Washington

In a battle of former world title challenger, Derek Chisora grinded out a 10-round unanimous decision over Gerald Washington in a heavyweight bout.

Chisora, 251.1 lbs of Finchley, ENG won by scores of 98-93, 97-94 and 96-94 and is now 34-13. Washington, 237.9 lbs of Vallejo, CA is 20-6-1.

Hrgovic Stops McKean in 12th

IBF number-one ranked Filip Hrgovic stopped previously undefeated Demsey McKean in the 12th and final round of their heavyweight fight.

The fight mostly lacked action. In round 12, Hrgovic landed an overhand right that hurt McKean, who staggered into the ropes. The referee started a count and then the fight was stopped at 1:01.

Hrgovic, 243.1 lbs of Zagreb, CRO is 16-0 with 13 knockouts. McKean, 245.5 lbs of Queensland, AUS is 22-1.

Fisher Stops Armstrong in 7

Johnny Fisher remained undefeated with a seventh round stoppage of Harry Armstrong in a 10-round heavyweight bout,

Fisher went to work right away as he dropped Armstrong 10 seconds into the fight when he came out swinging from his heels and landed a big right hand.

In round seven, Fisher dropped Armstrong with a massive overhand Fisher followed that up with a big flurry that was highlighted by a crushing right on the ropes that forced a referee stoppage at 1:19.

Fisher, 242.8 lbs of Romford, ENG is 10-0 with nine knockouts. Armstrong, 250,8 lbs of Torquay, ENG is 5-2-1.

Hatton Decisions Ansell

Campbell Hatton remained undefeated with a eight-round decision over Tom Ansell in a super lightweight contest.

Hatton, 141.8 lbs of Hyde, ENG won by a 78-74 score and is now 13-0. Ansell, 141.9 lbs of Hitchin, ENG is 10-5.

George Liddard stayed undefeated with a six-round decision over Bas Ootwerweghel in a middleweight bout.

Brandon Scott remained undefeated with a six-round decision over Louis Norman in a featherweight fight.

Sunny Edwards made the fourth defense of the IBF Flyweight title with a 12-round unanimous decisions over Andres Campos at the OVO Arena in London.

Cheavon Clarke stopped David Jamieson in round five of their 10-round cruiserweight fight

In round four, Clarke dropped Jamieson with an uppercut. In round five, Clarke dropped Jamieson again with a hard combination to the head and the fight was stopped at 35 seconds.

George Liddard remained undefeated with a first round stoppage of Nikolas Dzurnak in a scheduled six-round middleweight fight.

In round one, Liddard dropped Dzurnak with a body punch. A moment later, Liddard put Dzurnak down with a left hook to the head. Liddard ended things as he jumped on Zurnak and a right hand put Dzurnak down for a third and final time at 2:29.

Muhammad Ali won a four-round decision over Bryan Castro in a super bantamweight fight.

Diego Pacheco remained undefeated by stopping Jack Cullen in round four of their 10-round super middleweight bout in Liverpool, England

In round four, Pacheco landed a perfect left hook to the body that put Cullen on the canvas. Pacheco landed a big right that hurt Cullen badly and the fight was stopped as Cullen was going down at 47 seconds.

Pacheco, 166.10 lbs of Los Angeles is 18-0 with 15 knockouts. Cullen, 167.8 lbs of Little Leaver, ENG is 21-4-1.

Darragh Foley stopped Robbie Davies Jr. in round three of their 10-round super lightweight contest.

In round two, Foley dropped Davies with a right hook just before the bell sounded to end the round. Early in round three, Foley landed another right hook that put Davies down again. Davies appeared to snap his right foot and he could not continue and the fight was stopped at 26 seconds.

Foley, 139.6 lbs of Bondi, AUS is 22-4-1 with 10 seconds. Davies, 139.12 lbs of Liverpool, ENG is 23-4.

In a battle of Liverpool based middleweights, Paddy Lacey won a six-round decision over James McCarthy.

Campbell Hatton remained undefeated with a six-round decision over Michael Gonxhe in a super lightweight bout.

Hatton, 140.5 lbs of Hyde, ENG won by a 59-55 tally and is now 10-0. Gonxhe, 136.14 lbs of Frankfurt, GER is 4-3-1.

George Liddard stopped Daniel Przwieslik in round three of a scheduled four-round middleweight contest.

Liddard hurt Przwieslik with a hard right and continued to batter his opponent and the fight was stopped at 2:32.

Billericay Middleweight prospect George Liddard has signed a multi-fight promotional deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing. 
 
The 20-year-old Essex native made a perfect start to life in the paid ranks by halting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Nikola Matic in two rounds on the undercard of Dillian Whyte’s clash with Jermaine Franklin at Wembley’s OVO Arena last November. 
 
As an amateur Liddard represented the Billericay and Wickford ABC and went on to clinch four National Titles and two International Gold Medals during an impressive stint before deciding to turn professional last year. 
 
Trained by two-time Lightweight World Title Challenger and fellow Hammer Kevin Mitchell alongside Tony Sims at the Matchroom Boxing Elite Gym, Liddard wants his dominant debut win to be the start of a special journey in the 160lbs division.

In an entertaining heavyweight battle former world title challenger Dillian Whyte won a 12-round majority decision over Jermaine Franklin at The Wembley Arena in London.

The action went both ways with Franklin using quick hands to score some solid combinations. Whyte got into the fight in the middle rounds by landing some solid power shots, The 12th round saw some furious action with Whyte landing a big right hand that sent Franklin to the ropes. Franklin fought off the ropes and landed a nice right of his own. Many observers thought that Franklin deserved better. Whyte won by scores of 116-112 twice and 115-115.

Whyte landed of 608 punches; Franklin was 165 of 606.

Whyte, 241 lbs of Brixton, ENG is 29-3. Franklin, 257 lbs of Saginaw, MI is 21-1.

Wardley Remains Perfect and Stops Gorman in 3

Fabio Wardley kept his perfect knockout record as he stopped Nathan Gorman in round three of their 12-round heavyweight bout.

In round two Wardley dropped Gorman twice, both from hard right hands. In round three, Wardley dropped Gorman again with a big right that was followed by a left. Moments later, Gorman’s corner threw in the towel after sustaining more punishment, and the fight was stopped at 2:33.

Wardley, 240 lbs of Ipswich, ENG is 15-0 with 15 knockouts. Gorman, 271 lbs of Nantwich, ENG is 19-2.

McCormack Decisions Andino

Pat McCormack remained undefeated with a six-round decision over Christian Nicolas Andino in a welterweight bout.

McCormack landed 69 of 204 punches; Andino was just 17 of 121.

McCormack, 152 lbs of Sunderland, IRE won by 60-54 score and is now 3-0. Andno, 146 lbs of Buenos Aires, ARG is 16-6-2.

Sandy Ryan Decisions Sanchez

Sandy Ryan won a 10-round unanimous decision over Anahi Ester Sanchez in a super lightweight fight.

Ryan landed 120 of 355 punches; Sanchez was 105 of 419.

Ryan, 139 lbs of Derby, ENG won by scores of 100-92, 99-91 and 98-92 and is now 5-1. Sanchez, 138 lbs of Buenos Aires, ARG is 21-6.

Clarke Takes out Ulrich in 2

Cheavon Clarke stopped Jose Gregorio Ulrich in round two of their eight-round cruiserweight bout.

In round one, Clarke dropped Ulrich with a straight right. In round two, Clarke uncorked a vicious uppercut that twisted the body of Ulrich and the bout was stopped at 32 seconds.

Clarke. 198 lbs of Gravesend, ENG is 4-0 with four knockouts. Ulrich, 194 lbs of Maria Juan, ARG is 17-6.

Dickinson Decisions Onyenani

Mark Dickinson won a six-round decision over Gideon Onyenani in a middleweight contest.

Dickinson landed 74 of 293 punches; Onyenani was 72 of 243.

Dicksinson, 164 lbs of West Rainton, ENG won by a 59-56 tally and is now 4-0. Onyenani, 163 lbs of Chatham, ENG is 4-3.

George Liddard made a successful pro debut with a second round stoppage over Nikola Matic in a four-round middleweight bout.

At the end of the opening round, Liddard dropped Matic with a right to the body. The bout was stopped after a barrage from Liddard at 25 seconds of round two.

Liddard, 162 lbs of Billericay, ENG is 1-0 with one knockouts. Matic, 161 lbs of Caplinja, BOS is 18-51.

Thomas Carty remained undefeated with a fifth round stoppage over Pavlo Krolenko in a scheduled six-round heavyweight contest.

In round five, Carty dropped Krolenko with a short left hand. Carty scored a second knockdown after landing a hard flurry on the ropes. Krolenko got to his feet, but could not continue and the bout was stopped at 1:12.

Carty, 252 lbs of Dublin, IRE is 4-0 with three knockoouts. Krolenko, 242 lbs of Khartkiv, UKR is 3-10-1.
