JAM-PACKED UNDERCARD ANNOUNCED FOR FLOYD MAYWEATHER VS. JOHN GOTTI III EVENT ON SUNDAY, JUNE 11 LIVE ON ZEUS NETWORK PAY-PER-VIEW FROM FLA LIVE ARENA IN SUNRISE, FLORIDA

SUNRISE, FL. – May 31, 2023 – The undercard is now set as a stacked lineup will lead up to undefeated boxing Hall of Famer Floyd “Money” Mayweather’s return to the ring on Sunday, June 11, in an exhibition showdown against professional fighter John Gotti III, the grandson of famous gangster John Gotti.

A unique crossover extravaganza and star-studded night featuring musical performances and more, “LAST NAMES MATTER” will be available through Zeus Network Pay-Per-View on Sunday, June 11, from FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida, in partnership with renowned director and producer Deon Taylor. Be sure to catch the exciting fight week activities at The Fontainebleau Miami Beach, the official Fight Week home of Mayweather vs. Gotti.

Tickets for the live event are available through Ticketmaster by clicking HERE.

In the co-featured, eight-round exhibition, film and fighting star Ulysess “The Monster” Diaz will rematch popular UK-based fighting star Khalas “BabaYaga” Karim in the sequel to their all-out war from February that stole the show on another Mayweather topped Zeus Pay-Per-View undercard.

Incredibly, Cuban-born, Miami-based cruiserweight Ulysses “The Monster” Diaz didn’t start fighting professionally until he was 35 years old. The subject of a 2022 Urban Film Festival-winning documentary about his life, Diaz grew up with accomplished rapper and singer Pitbull and even traveled the world as his head of security. The now 42-year-old has a successful boxing career at 14-1, 13 KOs and is a breakout star at bareknuckle boxing, where he broke the record for the World’s Fastest Combat Sports KO, made official by Guinness World Records, by laying out Donelei Benedetto in three seconds. Diaz is engaged to WWE Diva Dana Brooke.

Popular “Wicked n’ Bad” light heavyweight champion and boxing prodigy Khalas Karim currently resides in the UK and is originally from Morocco via Denmark. Karim asserted himself as a force by going toe-to-toe with the formidable Diaz in their first clash, an exhibition slugfest for the ages. Despite the size and experience disadvantages, Karim showed refined technique against Diaz and was surging as the fight progressed.

In another high-profile four-round exhibition, world-class heavyweight Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller will take on popular Vegas-based undefeated heavyweight Antonio Zepeda.

The undefeated Jarrell Miller was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, home to his idols and former greats Mike Tyson and Riddick Bowe. An outspoken and entertaining slugger, Miller began boxing at the age of 16 and went 10-1 as an amateur. Now 34-years-old, the 6’ 4” Miller currently holds a professional record of 26-0-1, with 22 KOs and was last seen knocking out former champion Lucas Browne in six rounds in March of this year. Still considered a dangerous heavyweight, Miller is closing in on a career-defining fight against one of the current stars of the big man’s division.

An “against the odds” story of perseverance, Antonio Zepeda was raised in Phoenix group homes after his father, who was serving a life sentence for murder, died in prison in 2014, and his mother, who struggled and was on the streets, died a year earlier. The 6-foot-6, 270-pound Zepeda was a Phoenix Camelback High School All-Arizona football defensive end. He began his boxing training less than a year after his dreams of an NFL career ended at UNLV in 2017, when he suffered a broken tibia, torn MCL and meniscus. The 28-year-old Zepeda is currently 6-0, 6 KOs as a boxer and a 2-0, 2 KOs in MMA. Now residing in Las Vegas, Zepeda’s fighting style has drawn comparisons, stylistically, to former Polish heavyweight Andrew Golota.

Also scheduled for action is a four-round bareknuckle boxing match between MMA star Hector Lombard and Eric Turner.

Héctor Lombard is a Cuban and Australian professional mixed martial artist, bodybuilder, and former Olympic judoka who competes in the Light Heavyweight division of Eagle FC. Lombard is best known for his tenure in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and has also fought in Deep, Pride, and Bellator where he was the inaugural Bellator Middleweight Champion. Born in Cuba Lombard represented his home nation at the 2000 Sydney Olympics in Judo.

In another four-round exhibition bout, J’Hon Ingram will battle Ryan “Stone” Allen.

Light welterweight prospect J’Hon Ingram (3-0, 3 KOs) has been touted as “The Next Floyd Mayweather,” by Mayweather himself. The undefeated Las Vegas resident had a short amateur career of just 12 bouts, as his impressive style was already better suited to the professional ranks. Originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Ingram was first introduced to Mayweather when the Hall of Famer was looking for a sparring partner for an upcoming exhibition fight. The first sparring session with Mayweather proved life changing for Ingram and gave him experiences money can’t buy. The 22-year-old Ingram most recently saw viral success online for knocking out world champion Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero in a sparring video.

The 30-year-old Ryan Allen (10-6-1, 5 KOs) currently resides in Las Vegas, but originally hails from Jackson, Michigan. A seven-year professional, Allen has faced a list of top contenders, including current world champion Robeisy Ramirez and has never been stopped. The deceptively capable Allen has never lost to a fighter with more than one loss on this record.

To open the action, Kamari “KB3” Burnside will fight three exhibition rounds against Brendan Jackson.

A Las Vegas resident, Burnside is a promising amateur boxer and sparring partner for fellow boxing prospect Nico Ali Walsh at Top Rank Gym. A Floyd Mayweather protegee, the 6’ Burnside was formerly a basketball standout guard at Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas where he was named the Las Vegas League Defensive Player-of-the- Year; averaging 13 points per game, 4 assists per game, 3 rebounds per game, 2.8 steals per game, and breaking the Nevada high school record for steals in a season with 84.

In addition to Mayweather’s exhibition, the event will feature performances from superstar recording artist Ozuna and more. Ozuna has won multiple Latin Grammy Awards and Billboard Music Awards, in addition to his 2018 collaboration with DJ Snake, Cardi B and Selena Gomez on “Taki Taki” that went quadruple platinum.

The event is dedicated to the loving memory of Marikit “Kitchie” Laurico, Mayweather’s longtime assistant who passed away suddenly in April.

After a legendary career that saw him compile a perfect 50-0 record while winning 12 world titles across five weight classes, Mayweather has gone around the world fighting in exhibitions and spreading the positive messages gleaned from the sport. Mayweather’s exhibition tour has seen him compete in electrifying contests in Dubai, Japan, and the U.K., with him now returning to South Florida after previously squaring off against social media superstar Logan Paul in 2021 in Miami, as he continues delivering memorable action in his signature “Money” Mayweather style.

“I’m all about bringing the biggest and best events to the people, and Sunday, June 11 is going to be like nothing else you’ve seen in the sports and entertainment world,” said Mayweather. “This is all about combining the entertainment of top-flight musical performances with top-flight skills in the ring. I love the fans in South Florida and I know they’re going to appreciate this premier event we’re going to bring to them.”

Gotti III has moved beyond the shadow of his famous last name to put together an impressive resume as both a professional mixed martial artist and a professional boxer. Fighting out of Oyster Bay, New York, Gotti III began his pro MMA career in 2017, racking up a 5-1 record competing on CES MMA shows. He officially made his transition into pro boxing in October 2022, winning a unanimous decision over Albert Tulley. He followed that up with a first round KO over Alex Citrowske in his last fight this January. Now he will look to show off his skills on the biggest stage of his career so far, against the all-time great Mayweather.

“I grew up idolizing Floyd and I’m honored to have this chance to step into the ring against him,” said Gotti. “He’s one of the greatest boxers of all time and he’s the reason I got into the fight game. But on June 11, I’m gonna punish him.”

The Founding CEO of Hidden Empire Film Group, Chicago native Deon Taylor is a world-renowned film director, producer and screenwriter responsible for such works as Dead Tone, The Hustle, Nite Tales, Chain Letter, Supremacy and Meet the Blacks

Known for his creative genius, Taylor has worked with several of Hollywood’s biggest names and most respected production companies to write, produce or direct many well-known works in black popular culture. He is also the visionary behind Mayweather’s “The GOAT” docuseries.

“Floyd has simply become the definition of iconic,” said Taylor. “His passion and genius in the ring and outside of the ring is beyond measure. I am personally blessed and honored to stand with him and tell his amazing story to the world. We cannot wait to see him in the ring again in Miami and understanding that some of the proceeds will be given to at risk youth just furthers Floyd’s brilliance and heart.”

“It’s great to be bringing another huge night to the fans in Florida,” said James McNair, CEO of High Rollers, producers of the event. “We’re excited to be back and working with the Gotti family this time for this exciting fight. It’s also our second time around with the Zeus Network and we’re thrilled to have them be a part of this event.”

“The Zeus Network is a trailblazing leader in streaming media, and we are excited to partner with one of the greatest athletes of all time, Floyd Mayweather, on his next exhibition fight,” said Lemuel Plummer, CEO of Zeus Network. Gotti is no stranger to the limelight; the highly-touted MMA welterweight prospect made is professional debut in the cage at CES 46 in Rhode Island in October of 2017 and went on to win his first four bouts by first-round knockout. Inactive for two years due to the pandemic, Gotti made his pro boxing debut in October, beating Albert Tulley by unanimous decision at The Paramount in Huntington, NY.

He’s risen to the occasion each time he’s been tested, whether it’s MMA or boxing. This is not an easy transition for any fighter to make, but I have no doubt John will be as successful in the ring as he’s been in the cage and he will soon be on everyone’s radar in the boxing community.

Winter Brawl is headlined by heavyweight “The Sicilian Nightmare” Juiseppe Cusumano (21-4, 19 KOs) facing “The Hungarian Hammer” Istvan Bernath (10-1, 8 KOs) in the 10-round main event and the long-awaited return of Stamford, CT, light middleweight Chordale Booker (17-1, 7 KOs) in an eight-round showcase against 37-fight veteran Angel Hernandez (17-17-3, 11 KOs).

In another potential showstopper, undefeated welterweight Josniel Castro (9-0, 7 KOs), a Boca Raton, FL, native who’s fought his entire pro career in New England from Massachusetts to New Hampshire, faces one of his toughest tests to date in a six-round showdown against Quebec native and Boston resident Mitch Louis Charles (6-3-2, 3 KOs). Winter Brawl also marks the return of female welterweight Stevie Jane Coleman (3-1, 1 KO), who faces New Jersey’s Michaele Nogue (2-2) in a four-round bout, and Worcester super middleweight Kendrick Ball Jr. (19-1-2, 12 KOs) in a six-round bout against Argentinian and 22-fight vet Victor Hugo Exner.

In preliminary action, Brockton heavyweight Chad Leoncello (1-0-1, 1 KO), fresh off his first career victory in November, faces Boston’s Wallace Nass Silva (0-4) in a four-round bout and MMA standout Mike Kimbel of Watertown, CT, makes his professional boxing debut against Robert Banks (0-1) of Monroeville, NY, also in a four-round bout.

SHOJGREEN EARNS ABO CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE WITH TKO VICTORY

Huntington, New York (October 2, 2022) – The Paramount was filled to the rafters last night as the opening bell rang for a thrilling night of action at Star Boxing’s Rockin’ Fights 43. The exciting card brought the action and drama as fans in attendance and those watching around the globe were treated to a fantastic night of professional boxing.

In the ABO Cruiserweight Title main event, it was a question of which style would reign supreme between the heavy-handed JOEL “SHOTGUN” SHOJGREEN (14-3 13KO’s) and the athletic, LYUBOMYR “DEMOLITION MAN” PINCHUK (14-4-1 8KO’s). This question was answered when Shojgreen landed a missile right hand that floored Pinchuk deep into the second minute of round one. Pinchuk rose at the count but was hobbled by an injury suffered to his right knee which seemed to buckle and land awkwardly when he fell. Shojgreen went into attack mode, but with Pinchuk both buzzed from the knockdown and unable to put pressure on his leg, Referee Al Lobianco stopped the action at 2:48 in the first round. With the TKO, Shojgreen secured a massive victory and the ABO Cruiserweight Title. Pinchuk was taken to the hospital for x-rays on his right knee, and all of us at Star Boxing wish him a speedy recovery.

In the co-feature, JOHN GOTTI III (1-0) made his highly anticipated pro debut against ALBERT TULLEY (0-2) in a 4 round light heavyweight bout. Gotti, who made the transition as a 5-1 professional MMA fighter, to the squared circle, impressed last night. From the opening bell, Gotti was deliberate and tactical with his offense. The raucous crowd was behind their man with every punch. At the close of the 4-rounds, Gotti earned the unanimous decision svictory in front of his home crowd (40-36 x3).

The trash talk was fast and fierce leading into the “RUTHLESS” RONNY REYES (2-0) vs TRAVIS “PRETTY BOY” CRAWFORD (0-2) and boy did it deliver. Reyes and Crawford absolutely threw down in their super featherweight bout. Both men were fearless in their pursuit of victory and had the crowd on their feet for almost the entirety of the 4-round bout. Reyes was more creative in his attacks, but Crawford refused to take a step back for the entirety of the fight. As the close fight came to the final bell, the crowd showered Reyes and Crawford with applause for their performance. Reyes received the majority decision victory (38-38 draw, 39-37 Reyes x2).

Also on the undercard, the light heavyweight rematch between “BE YOU” DEQUINT HILL (2-1) and LOU “IL MARTELLO” MAIETTA (1-3-1) went to the wire in yet another close fight. An accidental headbutt caused a cut under the right eye of Hill, but he would not allow it to affect him, as he kept Maietta at bay with his length and sticking jab. In the third round, Maietta rocked Hill and had him on unsteady legs, but wasn’t able to capitalize. At the close of the bout Hill secured the majority decision victory (38-38 draw, 40-36 Hill, 39-37 Hill).

Undefeated Queens super featherweight RAY “THE SCIENTIST” CUADRADO (5-0 1KO) opened the show against the very tough JOSEPH “THE JAGUAR” BROWN (3-5 1KO) over their 4-round super featherweight bout. Cuadrado was able to control the action from the jump and used his sharper boxing ability to foil any onslaught Brown tried to muster. Cuadrado secured the unanimous decision victory (40-36 x3).

Star Boxing CEO JOE DEGUARDIA had this to say about the night, “Rockin’ Fights delivered in every way. A sold-out crowd, exciting fights and action that had fans on their feet from the opening bell. Saturday night demonstrated the full essence of what we have built at the Paramount since 2011. Congratulations to all the fighters for delivering a thrilling show and thank you to everyone who came out to make last night a successful event.”
