Felix Verdejo stopped previously undefeated Will Madera in the 1st round of their scheduled 10-round lightweight bout at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Towards the end of the end of the 1st round, Verdejo landed a big uppercut that hurt Madera. The follow up flurry sent Madera back to the ropes where Vadera landed a vicious combination that sent Madera on his back. Madera wobbled as he got to his feet and the bout was stopped 2:59.

Verdejo, 135.9 lbs of San Juan, PR is 27-1 with 17 knockouts. Madera, 135.8 lbs of Albany, NY is 15-1-3.

“I am proud of the work I put in with my trainer, Ismael Salas. The hard work is paying off,” Verdejo said. “Madera is a good fighter, but when I had him hurt, I knew I could finish him.

In round three , Jules began to bleed from the nose, but Jules outlanded Jumakhonov 217-91.

Jared Anderson remained perfect by stopping Hector Perez in the opening round of their scheduled four-round heavyweight bout.

In round one, Anderson landed a six-punch combination that was dinished up with a hard right hand to head that sent Perez down, and the fight was stopped at 1:45.

Kenneth Davis Jr. scored a four-round majority decision over Eduardo Sanchez in a lightweight bout.

In round three, Davis dropped Sanchez with a left to the body. In round four, Davis was deducted a point for spitting out his mouthpiece.

Sanchez outlanded Davis 102-86.

Philadelphia, PA (December 9, 2019)– World Ranked welterweight Mykal Fox won a eight-round unanimous decision over Johnny Arellano in the main event of a seven bout show at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The card was promoted by King’s Promotions.

Fox of Forestville, Maryland, controlled the action by keeping his jab in the face of Arellano. Arellano tried to get inside, but it was the experience of the fighter known as “The Professor” that was able to thwart the offense of Arellano.

In round five, Fox was able to score a knockdown on shot that landed while both fighters were on the inside.

The number-14 ranked welterweight in the world by the IBF and number-15 by the WBA, Fox won by scores of 80-71 twice and 78-73 to run his winning streak to three in a row and raise his overall mark to 22-1. Arellano of Conroe, Texas is 10-2.

“Johnny is tough. He was awkward. He has some height on him presented some challenges, but we made the adjustments like we are supposed to,” said the 6’4″ Fox. “In 2020, we are looking for good fights, and just keep moving forward. That’s the biggest thing. We are going to go back to the gym, and work on the things we need to. I am going to work on what we did bad, and improve on what we did good, and look for a big 2020. We are going to keep working.”

Kalvin Henderson and Genc Pllana battled to an eight-round majority draw in a super middleweight bout.

Pllana took a card 79-73, while two cards read even at 76-76.

“We had to take our time in there, it was out 1st six-round fight. I had to listen to my corner and patiently walk him down, get the jab going, figure out what punches he was throwing, and try to get the caliber of his power, and respect it accordingly,” said Ferhadi. “The Philly fans are great. Philadelphia, PA (December 3, 2019)– THIS FRIDAY NIGHT at 2300 Arena, world-ranked welterweight Mykal Fox will make his debut at the famed fight facility when he takes on Johnny Arellano in the 10-round main event.

The bout will headline a seven-bout card promoted by King’s Promotions.

“Camp has been very good. I have had excellent sparring, and I am excited to showcase myself in Philly on Friday,” said Fox, the 24 year-old native of Forestville, MD.

In Arellano, he is taking on another tall welterweight. Fox, who stands almost 6’4″ will taking on a fighter just two inches shorter in this important matchup.

“From what I have seen of him, he wings a lot of his shots. At 6’2″ he is my tallest opponent, but I will be his tallest opponent, and he is a brawler. Let’s see how that plays out for him being the shorter man.”

Now ranked number-14 by the IBF and Number-15 by the WBA, Fox knows that big opportunities are just around the corner and he would like to put in a great performance to end the year.

“I think next year, I will get more big opportunities. I have fought on ShoBox and have a win over an Olympic Gold Medal winner that was on ESPN +, I see more fights like that and even bigger fights in 2020. I see what my brother is going through, he is the number-one middleweight contender by the WBO. I see fighters not wanting to risk their records against him, and hopefully it won’t be the same when it comes to me as I climb the rankings,” Fox said speaking about his brother Alantez.

Fox, who has fought in The City of Brotherly Love once, is excited to fight at The 2300 Arena.

Bethlehem, PA (September 16, 2019)–WBA number-15 ranked junior welterweight contender Mykal Fox kept on the path towards a major fight with a 10-round unanimous decision over Eudy Bernardo in the main event of an exciting nine-bout card at The Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, Pa.

The nearly sold-out card was promoted by King’s Promotions.

Fox of Forestville, Maryland used his height and reach to start off the bout by keeping Bernardo at the end of his punches. As each round progressed, Fox moved closer and started landing solid four and five punch combinations that eventually started to make the normally forward charging Bernardo moving backwards towards the corner and ropes. Fox showed his class and superior skills that has him now being mentioned for deserved opportunities against the bigger names in the junior welterweight division, as he won by shutout tallies of 100-90 on all cards.

Fox,141.8 lbs is now 21-1. Bernardo 141.5 lbs of Santo Domingo, DR is 25-5.

Courtney Pennington out-punched Erik Spring by pounding out an eight-round unanimous decision in the junior middleweight co-feature.

Pennington was able to get inside at will on the taller Spring. When inside, Pennington worked by landing hard combinations that were mostly finished off by right hands that would snap the head of Spring. Spring was very game in defeat, but Pennington took the contest by scores of 80-72, 79-73 and 78-74.

Nicholas Hernandez and Terrance Williams waged an eight-round war that saw Hernandez take a unanimous decision in a junior middleweight bout.

Bethlehem, PA (May 6, 2019)–Frank De Alba got back in the win column by winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Ruben Dario Lopez in a super featherweight bout in front of a sold-out crowd at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

The action was promoted by King’s Promotions and Titans Boxing Promotions.

De Alba had to overcome a hard-charging Lopez, as the visitor form Argentina came out swinging wildly in the first 30 seconds of the fight. De Alba was able to fend that off, and get into a nice rhythm of boxing.

De Alba was keeping a solid distance, and work behind the jab, and befuddled Lopez throughout the rest of the contest, and won by shut out scores of 80-72 on all cards.

De Alba, who was on a two-fight losing streak, got back in the win column which upped the Reading, PA native’s record of 23-4-2. Lopez of Rosario, Argentina is 12-14-4.

In the co-feature, Erik Spring took an exciting eight-round unanimous decision over Nicholas Hernandez to win the USBF Silver Junior Middleweight Championship.

Hernandez has success early as he pressed the action and rocked Spring several times. With the crowd in a frenzy, as they cheered on the two Pennsylvania based fighters, Spring was able to turn the tide in the middle rounds as both he and Hernandez engaged in several toe-toe exchanges.

The bout was close heading into the home stretch, and Spring needed them bad as his work over the final six-minutes was the difference of the fight as he took all three cards by 77-75 scores.

Spring of Reading, PA is 13-2-1. Hernandez of Lebanon, PA is 9-4-1.

Jonathan Torres of Bethlehem, PA won a four-round unanimous decision over Jerrod Miner in a bantamweight fight.

Scores were 40-36 twice for Torres, and is now 3-0. Miner of Philadelphia falls to 1-5-2.

Martino Jules won a six-round unanimous decision over Danny Flores to win the ABO Junior Featherweight title.

Jules of Allentown, PA won by shutout tallies of 60-54 on all cards, and is now 6-0. Flores of Mexico City is 15-16.

Rasheed Johnson stopped Ricky Nuno at the end of round four of their scheduled six-round welterweight fight.

Johnson set everything up off of his jab, and he was able to pretty much do what he wanted until the corner of Nuno had enough and pulled the plug on the fight at the end of the 4th frame.

Johnson of Philadelphia is 6-2 with two knockouts. Nuno of Bethlehem is 2-3.

In a wild bantamweight fight, Yeuri Andujar had to get off the deck twice to eek out a six-round majority decision over Edgar Cortes.

Andujar was decked in round two, and each guy traded knockdowns in round three. Each fighter took control of the fight at different stages of the bout, that produced several furious exchanges.

The sell out crowd voiced their disapproval with the outcome which read 57-56 for Andujar on two cards, and 56-56.

Andujar of San Cristobal, Dominican Republic is now 4-1. Cortes of Vineland, New Jersey is 6-5-1.

Recent King’s Promotions signee Janelson Figueroa Bocachica stopped Gabor Gorbics a the end of round three of their scheduled eight-round welterweight fight.

Bocachica bloodied the nose of Gorbics in round two, and continued the onslaught for another round, until the ringside doctor stopped the bout before the 4th frame.

Bocachica of Detroit is 14-0 with 10 knockouts. Gorbics of Budapest, Hungary is 26-17.

Radzhab Butaev won a six-round unanimous decision over Silverio Ortiz in a welterweight fight.

Butaev of Brooklyn, New York won by scores of 59-54 and 58-55 twice, and is now 12-0. Ortiz of Merida, Mexico is 37-25.

Khainell Wheeler made a successful pro debut by stopping George Sheppard at 2:47 of the 1st round of their super middleweight bout.
