This Friday night, March 4th, undefeated Superflyweight sensation Patricia “Patty Boom Boom” Alcivar 3-0 (3KO) will be fighting for the first time as a pro in her hometown of Queens, NYC. Alcivar the former 2 time NYC Golden Gloves champion, and former national and international amateur champion will be featured on the first ever show promoted by New Legend Boxing Promotions. The show will take place at the Cordon Bleu Banquet Hall in Woodhaven, New York.
Alcivar is perfect as a pro with 3 wins and 3 knockouts and brings a very entertaining boxer/brawler style to the ring. Alcivar grew up boxing in NYC and has been groomed by Manhattan’s Trinity Boxing founder Martin Snow, who has worked with her from the first day she started boxing. Alcivar learned boxing the way it was intended by being tough, facing challenges and sparring with the best. The list is quite impressive for this tough Colombian girl from Queens, she has sparred several rounds with Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Kevin Kelly, and even Gerry Cooney!
Alcivar also competes in several road and adventure races throughout the year as well. She has ran the NYC Marathon 10 times and a total of 15 marathons including Boston twice and is scheduled to run in the Chicago Marathon in October. On March 4th in Woodhaven, NY, the tough Patty Boom Boom will be entertaining the crowd and taking another step toward her goal of world champion.
