LOWELL, Mass. (March 10, 2013) — Lowell boxers “Irish” Joey McCreedy and Mike Martin held an open workout yesterday at Forever Fitness in Chelmsford to promote Saturday night’s (March 16) “CFC Fight Night” professional boxing event, presented by Chicao Fight Nights Promotion, at Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell.

McCreedy (13-6-2, 6 KOs) headlines the eight-fight card in the eight-round main event against Canadian-invader Michael “Flash” Walchuk (9-8, 2 KOs) for the vacant Universal Boxing Federation US-Northeast light heavyweight title. Martin makes his pro debut in a four-round bout versus Josh Crespo (0-2).
