(San Diego, CA) –
The younger brother of the popular amateur standout Emilio Bojorquez, the charismatic Christian “Huevo” Bojorquez (11-0, 2KOs), is already making a name for himself in San Diego and Tijuana. Undefeated in eleven fights with two of them before the limit, “Huevo”, in his early twenties, is a veteran of the ring since he began boxing at a very early age trying to emulate his older brother. Both amassed impressive amateur careers winning tournaments at the municipal, state and national levels with Christian traveling abroad to Cuba to polish his boxing skills.

Christian debuted in pro boxing in October of 2010 with a hard earned majority decision over Salvador Cifuentes. He put together a string of wins on both sides of the border offering his wares from the Gaspar “Indio” Ortega gym in Tijuana’s famed zona norte neighborhood to the Four Points Sheraton hotel in San Diego.

In his toughest fight of his early career held in July of 2012, Bojorquez faced Thai fighter Walter Sarnoi at the Pechanga Casino and Resort in Temecula, California. Looked upon as the opponent for the popular Sarnoi, Bojorquez went down for the first time as a professional in the third round of the scheduled six round bout and again in the fifth. By the time of his first knockdown, Bojorquez had already sent Sarnoi down to the canvas and again in the sixth.
