Brooklyn, NY (August 7, 2014)–Fast rising World Ranked Junior Middleweight Frank “Notorious” Galarza (14-0-2, 9 KO’s) will have a full length featured story, including photo, in the September issue of the popular Muscle and Fitness magazine. The article, which is on newsstands now, will cover Galarza’s incredible life story, overcoming multiple obstacles, how he got into boxing, as well as work out tips he uses leading up to fights.

The Brooklyn Native was interviewed by writer Mark Barosso, at the prestigious New York Health and Racquet Club, where Galarza has worked for many years as a personal trainer. “The New York Health and Racquet Club (NYHRC) has supported me so much throughout my career,” Galarza stated, “I’ve enjoyed working there, the gym is top notch, and I prepared for many fights there and recommend the gym to anybody looking for real results. The NYHRC has been a huge part of my early success, they are like family to me. I am so thankful for everything they have done for me and my career, including getting me into Muscle and Fitness.”, finished Galarza

2014 has been a breakout year of sorts for Galarza. In January he put the junior middleweight division on notice with an stunning 2nd round Knockout of previously undefeated John Thompson, to win the WBC Latino Championship. The bout was his first televised fight, and was broadcast nationally on Showtime’s ShoBox. He then dismantled Franklin Gonzalez in April, again via 2nd round Knockout, and then shortly after was back on ShoBox, defeating a tough Sebastien Bouchard by Unanimous Decision. He is scheduled to headline long time promoter New Legend Boxing’s “International Fight Night” on September 20 at the Resorts World Casino in Queens, NY, against an opponent to be named shortly.

Galarza is managed by A.J. Galante of Elite Boxing Enterprises and Co-Promoted by DiBella Entertainment and New Legend Boxing. He can be followed on twitter @Notorious_FG
