WBA Interim Super Flyweight champion David Sanchez scored a 5th round stoppage over Anuar Salas in a ascheduled 10-round non-title bout at the Centro de Usos Multiples in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico
It was an action filled fight with both guys standing toe to toe. In round five, Sanchez landed a hard flurry on the ropes that dropped Salas. Salas got to his feet but the bout was stopped at 2:35 of round five.
Sanchez, 115 lbs of Hermosillo, MX is now 26-2-2 with 20 knockouts. Salas, 115 lbs of Colombia is now 14-3.
Rodrigo Garcia scored a 3rd round stoppage over Gabriel Martinez after Martinez could not continue due to a cut ovwe his right eye.
The blood started in round two and the fight was stopped at 2:34 of round three.
