ACOMA, Wash. – Amy Montenegro and Glena Avila will meet for the vacant Super Fight League America female strawweight championship in the main event of CageSport presents SFL 45 Friday at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma.

Issaquah’s Montenegro (5-2) tipped the scales at 115 pounds during Thursday’s weigh-ins. Avila (5-3) came in at 113. The main event headlines an eight-bout card, which will also features a co-main event between light heavyweights Brent “Mankill” Knopp (197) and Jordan Currie (197).

Tickets are available through the EQC box office and all Ticket Master outlets. Doors open at 6 p.m. with preliminary bouts starting at 7 p.m.

The entire SFL 45 card will be available for viewing on Youtube following the fights. Bob Stelton of 710 AM ESPN and ex-UFC fighter Jeff Hougland, who also owns Combat Sport and Fitness, will call the action.

Six undercard bouts will round out the card: Robert Burgess (204.5) vs. Thomas Hoeper (200.5); Nate Cook (205) vs. Rafael Brewster (206); Patrick Benson (156) vs. Kody Kramer (155.5); Dylan Potter (186) vs. Artiom Cula (184); Journey Newson (136) vs. Justin Hugo (134); Eric Cronkhite (146) vs. Danny Elliot (145).
