NEW YORK (April 4, 2025)–This Saturday, April 5th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, middleweight Elijah Lugo will make his highly anticipated pro debut when he takes on Andre Johnson in a bout scheduled for four rounds.

18-year-old Lugo had a sensational amateur career that saw him win the 2024 Under-19 World Championship and is now the all-time Team USA record holder for stoppage victories. Elijah was also a 19 time national amateur tournament champion. It was evident early on that Lugo was destined for stardom as he appeared in Sports Illustrated at the age of just 14 years young. He proved that promise true with as dominate an amateur career as you can have. He is now moving forward and turning toward the next chapter of his career. He will turn professional tomorrow night on the heels of his older brother Nathan. The elder Lugo already has a record of 3-0 with three knockouts and boxes under the famed Queensberry Promotions banner.

Elijah is represented by New York based Split-T Management and their CEO David McWater.

Elijah is from Marietta, Georgia and is trained by his father Michael Lugo out of the Lugo Boxing Club.

The fight will be streamed live on PrpBoxTV App and ProBoxTV Youtube at 6:30 PM ET
